Does this Willy Boly foul deserve a second yellow?

Another controversial call in the PL

My gut says this is a terrible call, what can Boly even do here? Yes there is incidental stuff contact but obviously no intent to harm the opponent, keeps his foot low, etc.

To me, not even a foul. Can’t believe VAR didn’t look at that.

Agreed, but VAR can’t look at yellow cards unfortunately.

He got to the ball first, kept his foot down, and it even looks like the Bournemouth player steps on him.

They really should VAR 2nd yellows as it impacts the game as much as a straight red.

English refs are the worst

Dan James got booked for getting kicked in the nuts earlier

i said it weekend thread, soccer is going the way of boxing, with dives, match fixing, cheating, etc

There is no way that shouldn't go to VAR.

anyone who disagrees is a damn fool

how do you not allow VAR to review when it’s a pivotal point in the game is beyond me

I don't entirely agree based on the fact that they shouldn't be treating yellow cards differently from first and second. If this foul would have happened first and an actual yellow challenge happened second, this would be a non-story, which doesn't make any sense

Either review all fouls resulting in yellows or none of them

That ref is perhaps the most smug dude on earth. He cost my wolves 3 and refused to apologize despite everyone telling him he got the call wrong. No business in the premier.

Forest submitted a complaint to PGMIL over the officiating of their match.
