Italy wins if Balo plays his best.
Otherwise, Germany by 2.

Whoa. Here's the Germany team. Kroos, Gomez, Podolski in. Reus, Schürrle, Klose out.

Neuer, Boateng, Hummels, Badstuber, Lahm, Khedira, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Özil, Podolski, Gomez.

Buffon, Balzaretti, Bonucci, Barzagli, Chiellini, DeRossi, Pirlo, Marchisio, Montolivo, Cassano, Balotelli.

Italian Bane will try to put the team on his back, but I dont think it'll be enough. Germany 3-2

Gonna overload the midfield with Kroos. He'll act like another holding midfielder and they can keep an extra set of eyes on Pirlo

FWIW, not impressed by the # of pirlo passes, impressed by the quality

I'm pretty sure everyone knows he's one of the few players Italy have that the Germans don't have a match for. Him and balotelli

This is every bit as ignorant as the all Germans are Nazis posts, but from what I read on line from a lot of arrogant German soccer fans, unfortunately, par for the course.

Ian Darke copying my shite:

Sounds like Germany picking Kroos might mean subtle change of shape to prevent Italy out numbering them in centre. We ll see

You really have a distorted view on the game. Ozil is just as good, if not better than Pirlo.

Kroos - Khedira - Schweinsteiger will be able to handle the midfield just fine.

Balotelli is a great player, but so is Mats Hummels.

Are they going to line up similarly to Italy? Or is Podolski going to stay wide?

Well the criminal thing has been pretty prominent in Italian football. Seems like Italy can't go more than 5 years without a match fixing scandal.

I don't generalize all of Italy into that though.

You wanna throw down?

I bet Podolski might move up a bit more if Kroos is dropping.
