I'll go on record as saying I would absolutely be thrilled to sell CR7 to China at 180 mil.
I mean think about the return on that investment.....2 La Liga titles, 2 Copa del Reys, 3 UCL titles, and several Euro and Spanish Supercups plus you get double what you paid for him. That kind of shite just doesn't happen in world club football typically.

I want Real to keep Ronaldo. I don't give a shite about the investment or making money. I want to watch my favorite international player on the biggest stage at the best club. Real already has unlimited money.

So in the last like 72 hours Ronaldo is apparently leaving Madrid, Conte is going to be sacked from Chelsea and Donnarumma is leaving Milan.
What a time to be alive.
What a time to be alive.

Understandable. It is a point that I don't take lightly either.....I personally think that Ronaldo needs Madrid more than they need him. Ultimately I think this is a play to get Real to rehab his image and support him more so that he comes out of this tax evasion deal exactly the same way that Messi came out of his.
However, like I said I won't cry if we sell him to China for 180 mil....now if we sell him to ManU for 100 I might be more concerned.

And if that is achieved by offering him a higher wage, I think that'll be enough to keep him at RM...

To me that is a milestone in a man's life - watching some player who has been around for a while and you think or say aloud "GOD DAMN HOW OLD IS THIS GUY NOW LIKE 40?!?!?" and you look it up and he's actually younger than you :|

My only argument is that playing in Spain isn't even close to playing in England in terms of physicality.
Good thing he's already done it before.
CR7 is one of the two best players in the world, and United proved last season with Zlatan that older stars can still perform at an extremely high level. Don't overthink this — CR7 is still CR7.
This would buy time for Rashford and Martial (to an extent) to further develop without having to be THE guys for a title contender.
Bring him home.

Has he done it for a full season as a 30-year-old?
He was in prime physical condition when he was in England and that body is like eight years older now.
Now if there is one guy who probably can do it, it's him.

Let's address the real issue here. What's this gonna mean for the FIFA 18 cover?

Are you trying to tell me Cristiano Ronaldo isn't in fantastic shape right now?

no he wasn't
you do realize men peak from 28-32ish and sometimes even later. Women peak in their early to mid 20's.
he didn't start actually packing on muscle and getting ripped until after a few years at Madrid.

That's what I did with Federer this year.

Weren't you saying in a thread on the MSB that Lebron was declining? Pick one

no
Lebron won't slow down for another few years, but hes got tons of miles on him.
My point still stands about men in their peak physical condition. At 32 I am much bigger, fast and stronger than I was at 22.
