I don't think he has received enough credit for the following. First, his bedazzled backpack:
or this, which I think is better than Balotelli's version:

Seeing as I´m physically superior to him (with exception of the abdominal area), and the fact that he´s a complete douche, I´ll go for the back pack.
He really chaps my arse.
He is a great player, but he´s all about himself.

Ronaldo deserves credit for doing the impossible.
He made Eric Wynalda sound witty on live television.

I think he plays that shite up for TV. I've heard him speak several times and he doesn't come off as douchey. He actually seems more dumb to me than douchey
I was happy for him to get that goal. He deserves it.
What a freaking game man.

You´re correct. His acts are douchey.
He means no harm.
But, he´s not a little boy, and surely he´s learned what is appropriate or no, with respect to a side and it´s morale.

Probably right. His teammates seem to like him and take him for what he is though. Incredible athletic talent make up for a lot of things.

I can't decide whether his backpack or "tough guy" pose are more likely to be endlessly tweeted by the cast of Rupaul's Drag Race.

Certainly CRon is in his HOF. There´s absolutely no doubt.

Because he´s a child mentally, and means well.
His drive to be the best however, is something else.

I can only imagine the conversations between him and Irina.
Probably makes the conversations between Shevchenko and his wife (who don't speak any of the same languages) look like a Chomsky-Buckley debate.

Probably just sit in bed looking at each other...
Also who doesnt want a SO who doesnt talk all the time
Anyway, Ronaldo is the best in the world atm.
One thing about him is I dont think hes ever had an off the field moment where it looks like he is causing trouble behind the scenes.

I'm sure his teammates love him, and it's warranted. His attitude carries the team at times, so I don't think that his teammates can really be annoyed with it. It seems like he's besties w/Coentrao and Marcelo, and those are the guys who have to work extra hard when he doesn't track back.
He very well may be an idiot, but there's a reason that I'm very hesitant to listen to soccer players speak.
ETA: I mean, he scores goals. From men's league to La Liga, narcissism is an important quality for a goalscorer to have.

Lets bare in mind he is talking to you quite fluently/well in a foreign language.
Also remember how the NFL is a no fun league and every complains about celebrations, here we have a raw passionate celebration and people complain

I don't listen to him. Honestly, the only thing that I can specifically recall him saying was the rant after the CSKA game a couple of years ago which was in Spanish
Roy Keane doesn't even hate Ronaldo, and Ronaldo seems like the perfect target for him
