Right but after the initial draw Jamaica and Concacaf 6 (Honduras/CR) swapped places in D4 and B4. I don’t think that involved us but didn’t hear the explanation.
Maybe something to do with the two play-ins being on the same side of the knockout?

Okay so it went.. (each team listed in order of group A to D by round):
Argentina, Mexico, United States, Brazil
Peru, Ecuador, Uruguay, Colombia
Then
Chile, Venezuela, Panama, Paraguay
Then
CONCACAF 5, Bolivia, CONCACAF 6, Jamaica
But because they knew the last team couldn’t come to our group, they …. You know what frick this.
I guess because the only way our group worked was having another CONMEBOL team and Bolivia was the last drawn one. But I guess Jamaica could’ve stayed put and Mexico group gotten CONCACAF 6? If that’s the case I think Mexico got a tougher team (obviously) in Jamaica than either alternative of CONCACAF 6.

Mexico has the toughest group by far. Venezuela actually has a good team for once. May have to fly out to Dallas for that Chile-Peru / USA-Bolivia weekend.

Yeah we definitely couldn’t take concacaf 6, but once they swapped them with Bolivia all the requirements were met as for as max confederation teams per group are concerned.

So Mexico just got screwed more by it… I think we’re all okay with that.

Gotta get wins in the first two matches, because I have zero faith in us coming through if we need to get a result against Uruguay in the final group match

What’s the best way to get tickets to these games, USA or otherwise?

The US Soccer app allows you to purchase tickets through ticketmaster on their app.
