Honduras or Jamaica is more likely to become that Costa Rica replacement than Curacao.

Curacao beat Honduras and drew Jamaica at the last Gold Cup.

I believe their last 2 games vs Costa Rica were a 1-1 draw and a 2-1 loss.

I'm not saying they are guaranteed to finish top 4, but they have gotten a lot better over the last few years and are solidly in the mix.

You can't say we don't know how they will fare against these teams and then ignore how they have actually fared.

You're putting way too much in a Gold Cup match 2 years ago.

Because of 2020, it's kind of the last thing we have to go on.

They also hired Guus Hiddink as manager in 2020.

Actually looks like they just got Patrick Kluivert as manager.

Why is Suriname in CONCACAF? It's in South America.

Bc that region doesn’t want them

They bring nothing to the table

Haiti has kits and numbers that you would see on any U12 rec league team.

All T&T had to do was not frick up against the worst team in the group. Sounds familiar.

I know this is a CONCACAF thread but Argentina just took the lead in the 2nd minute at Colombia.

The best player in this Guatemala/Curacao match is a Guatemalan who plays for California United in the National Independent Soccer Association.

Curacao is also starting a dude who is apparently a truck driver.

So this match is going about as well as you'd expect.

What happens if they draw since the goal differential is the same?

I think Curacao advances on more total goals.

I've always hated that as the second tiebreaker because if the goal differential is the same and you have more goals, that also means you've given up more goals.

Canada and Suriname just started... they're playing in Chicago.

Also, Ayo Akinola posted this three days ago.
