CONCACAF "None of these teams will make the World Cup" qualifying thread

Fun final day of the first round and all matches are on Paramount+.
Group winners will then be paired off and play each other in a 2-leg round next week, winners of those join USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica and Honduras in the Ocho - formally known as the hex.
The even shittier teams are kicking off now, but later tonight is pretty fun.
In Group A, El Salvador and Antigua & Barbuda are tied at 7 points and play each other at 8pm.
In Group B, Canada and Suriname are tied at 9 points and play each other at 8pm (VAMOS SURINAME!!!!)
In Group C, Curacao and Guatemala are tied at 7 points and play each other 7pm.
In Group D, Panama has 9 points and Dominican Republic has 7 points and play each other 8pm.
In Group E, Haiti and Nicaragua are tied at 6 points and play each other at 4pm.

frick, I read the schedule wrong, there's only two dead rubber matches today, the rest are tomorrow.

Chelsea legend JF Hasselbaink's son plays for Suriname and he's apparently good. Truth be told I've never watched Suriname play a soccer match before and I don't recall the USMNT playing them....

We lost out to Panama and Honduras in the Hex last time, no shite any of these teams could make the world cup.

I mean lets be real here, none of us have watched any of these teams for a full match in our lives, so LOL at any of us knowing how good or bad these teams are compared to the usually minnowy-CONCACAF hex participants (Honduras, Panama, Jamaica).

Did yall not watch the last Gold Cup? Curacao finished 2nd in a group with Jamaica, Honduras, and El Salvador. Lost to us 1-0 in the quarterfinals.

Yeah, and they weren't that good against us. They never threatened or anything.
We just played like arse.
There was nothing about that team that made me think they were anything special. Haven't seen a single second of them since.

But they don't have to beat us, just the other non-Mexico teams. They've also done well enough against teams like Costa Rica, who has a pretty old team right now.

Honduras or Jamaica is more likely to become that Costa Rica replacement than Curacao.
