He's committed about 3 fouls and that one was in the box when Tevez was about to get his shot away.
wasn´t much of a foul. Tévez was looking for contact the whole time, and had no problem hitting the pool when he felt the soft caress of Carvajál.

That was because Ronaldo hit Chiellini with one of these

while Chiellini was on the ground

Overall, should make for a decent second leg. Real Madrid looked like shite after going down a goal, but given the personnel and how Juventus sat back, I'm not exactly shocked. More surprised that Ancelotti made a non-injury obligated change before 70 minutes

Sevilla and Valencia really deserve those UCL spots anyway.

Pretty entertaining match today which is always a welcome surprise in the CL. Sets up for a good final even if I think Real is still the favorite.

Real did a good job pressuring Pirlo, making other players make the incisive passes and forcing a few very dangerous giveaways. Juve's pressure did as well.

Thought that James and Marchisio were probably the two standouts, considering Cristiano and Tevez/Vidal do what they do almost every match.

Juve would have certainly preferred Pogba, but Sturaro did fine considering he's only played 6 or 7 times ever for Juve against the bottom of the table.

If Morata develops his finishing a bit he's going to be quite a player. Pretty perfect fit for what Juve does already, so shifty in hold up and playing the little 1-2s with Tevez.

Lichtsteiner
is so annoying but can admit he's an pretty under appreciated player when people discuss top right backs. Him facing off with Marcelo is also a very underrated count v count matchup.

You could easily forget Bale was playing until about the 80th minute when they used him to bang in crosses.

Real looked very dangerous when they were able to swing left to right quickly to get James or Isco in space but weren't able to do it very often.

Likely missing Modric in making that happen a bit more. Otherwise it seemed Isco or James trying to dribble Marchisio or Vidal too often which isn't really going to work.

Will Benzema or Modric be back for the next leg... haven't really followed the news?
