Gervinho with a right footed open shot but he cuts right back into the defender he just ran past trying to work it end line again.

Stop tying to get 3 yards away from goal and start shooting!

Man, I like Gervinho's pluck and all, but I don't get what his role is. He is their left winger? He's all over the fricking place, with no semblance of an MO.

Anyone notice the FIFA ad at the top says 12 instead of 13?

Arsenal have always played him out wide as a winger like that pushed up wing striker kinda role. But since Giroud has sucked thus far Wenger pushed Gervinho up top as the lone striker.

Gervinho scored and got an assist while up there so I guess Wenger thought he was good up there.

Lol, maybe Gervinho shouldn't be shooting after all. This dude just sucks at the end product. Be it a final pass or shot, he just can't make it happen.

What a terrible cynical challenge by Garcia.

Just hold on for the point. As good of a result as anyone could have expected heading in to this match.

I saw no cynicism, that was a 'technical' foul which should have been a card.

No cynicism? He in no way conceivably could have tackled the ball and made no attempt to do so. He was not that last man and he was beat so he just pulled him down from behind. Fouls like that should be straight red cards IMO, I know it's not that severe of a foul but it should be stamped out of the game.

Professional foul from a bench player IMO

And by "professional" I mean he was beat and knew he would take a yellow.

Don't know what games you have been watching but Giroud has played well. The fact that he missed a couple of chances in first few games means he sucks? I guess his performance midweek sucked too.

I understand what you're saying. I think cynicism is a 'wontonly' foul or challenge (unnecessary).

I think if he doesn't commit that foul, he's letting a potentially fatal goal opportunity unfold.

Yeah, it's a yellow, and if nobody's behind them, a red.
Tactical, not cynical, in my book.

For what he's supposed to do, a striker, get goals he's been horrid.

He has great movement, holds the ball up well, wins clearances sent his way, which is all great but come on he's supposed to be scoring goals.

I guess sucks was too strong of a word, but he certainly needs to improve.
