Seriously what is Gervinho out there for? He sucks near the attacking 3rd, and he isn't posted up top to receive passes near the box. I find no use for him other than to latch on to through balls headed towards the end line which he inevitably will make nothing of.

Gervinho is game and feisty. However, he's slow, plodding and predictable with the ball.

He takes it end line every single time and tries to work in a cross, that is never accurate and almost always never makes it past the defender. His best hope is winning a corner. Just a player lacking any amount of creativity, and not technically very skillful.

Arsenal's strategy at this point is work it wide and whip in crosses. City have big boys back there and Giroud hasn't been good in the air this season.
Formation and strategy this match have been very poor, and some players are just putrid out there.
And I've only seen one half, but I gather we looked much better in the first half?
