It’s a different game if Ciacedo were healthy. I have to give Arsenal credit for keeping CP in a staight jacket. Still Chelsea has a lot to be excited about. Neto playing behind JP Morgan is going to devastate a lot of teams. Xabi has a good problem on his hands in trying to get Estavao more minutes. On the other hand Fofana has been a real disappointment.

arsenal was content to let us feed Neto up the right side because he was indecisive and pretty ineffective
Aresenal shut down CP and JP the middle and CFC didn’t do much on the left side after the early goal
Frankly Arsenal are better than CFC right now and have the hardware to prove it. However CFC are clearly closing the gap and with a full 11 including Caicedo at the Bridge in March against a Gunners group playing in Europe I like our chances.
I also think this CFC squad will get better as the season goes on.

But Neto is always going be open because teams have to shut down the middle. I don’t think teams less defensively sound than Arsenal (all of them) will be able to keep that combo from scoring.
