was cool to see Joao Felix run around for 97 minutes doing nothing for Barca today

not sad he is gone

I think Joao is useful in the right system. He was way too expensive for what he brings but I would’ve liked to see him with the new guys like Cole.

Not expecting much vs City but we tend to focus against the top sides. Really need Nkunku back because of still don’t trust Jackson regardless of the treble.

That was the worst hat trick ever, any of us on here could have had a hat trick with the line spurs were playing. He should have had 6 or 7. Did broja get hurt again? Rather him than Jackson

good half against MC

Offense has been better, squad is getting used to each other

defense is still a leaky mess in the middle

Gotta give the Blues their due. Finally getting healthy and showing signs of cohesion. Cole Palmer is already top 3 player on this side. 4 goals against City is beyond expectations. Sterling, Gallagher, Silva, Caseido all played well. Nkunku comes back after the break and Lavia as well. International break then let’s make a run. Even Marc, who took a tough pen in the early minutes, played very well overall.

The no-call handball at 72’ was atrocious.

Agree on both. That ref has a history of bad calls against Chelsea.

The last few matches have me excited about the second half of the season. As we add the rest of the squad, Blues should get better. They’re starting to gel.

Now that we see Everton’s fate, what is the anticipation for Chelsea? A little scary. I admit I don’t know much about the situation but articles like this today are worrisome.
Chelsea relegation possibility

Relegation seems ridiculous and honestly not worth worrying about. If anything, I’d be worried about the team not being good enough to survive a points deduction.

The bottom three are so bad even a 10 point deduction wouldn’t mean relegation this season

10pt deduction would put CFC in 16th place with tiebrakers in their favor and 26 matches to play

the Blues will fine

Saturday vs Magpies. They may be more banged up than Chelsea. Hopefully we catch them at a bad time. Gonna be a tough go at St James’ Park though. No Nkunku but Colwill and Gusto are back in training.

Gonna just move on. Total shite today. Poch said worst game of the season and I can’t disagree. Reece and his red card - not captain material. Silva needs to retire. Still have holes all across the back line. Sanchez is shite. Moving on…

I’ve come to the conclusion that this team has very low soccer IQ. Every fricking 3rd grader knows if you are on a yellow, you cannot be as aggressive going forward. It’s just that simple. And Caisedo should’ve been sent off with his wild challenges. Just fricking simple minded stupidity. Still struggling to defend set pieces. Can’t keep any lead with that leaky back line. Sanchez is really bad with his mishandling of passes and overall shittiness. So very lucky to get that penalty that wasn’t called on the field. Nice to get a W but this crap is never clean.

Something positive: Palmer didn’t play so a W without him is good. I love Mudryk- he needs to be on the field more. He brings a ton of pressure and speed. Not too many guys like him.
