Punchless second half. Potter can’t adjust. It’s time to show him the door it ain’t working. fricking suck.
He's not getting sacked this season lol
The attack actually looked a lot better
Gallagher isn't Chelsea level though. Cucurella isn't either

Cucurella is the least of our worries. Gallagher wouldn’t see the field of Kante were healthy and he’s a serviceable backup. Maybe they need a few matches to gel but Potter needs to show improvement or they’ll lose patience.

I haven’t seen anything yet about Potter that impresses me. There hasn’t been anything interesting in tactics, lineups, motivation of the team, etc. Team just isn’t playing with any creativity. It’s as though we don’t want to score.

Potterball has been a big dud

I don’t see an identity, but then I don’t know why it was working so well for Brighton

Will we beat BVB today? Doubtful

this team would be so much better with Giroud in the middle
havertz does nothing, felix and james are the only players to put any pressure on the defense

Outplayed Dortmund overall, shite luck
Saw a lot of progress today, more direct passing through the middle and counter attacked well

Felix is special. Enzo is special. Kai is average. Replace Kai with a real scorer and we’ll have something.

Absolutely have to win tomorrow. A loss or draw and the toxicity around the club is going to be unbearable.

You wonder if a loss or draw would be the last straw for Potter. I know they want to give him time but you have to see progress, and there has been little.

they showed some fight on Wednesday but the club is starting to have that dead man walking look to it they had at the end of the Lampard era

Except the squad is 5x as talented and experienced compared to what Frank was working with.

I liked Fofana energy up front over Kai is probably the only positive to say about the first half.

If you do a bicycle kick with a defender directly on your back and you know that, and you break their jaw, it’s usually a red

Mason Mount was 0% on his ground duel battles (0/6), tackles attempted (0/1), successful take-ons (0/2) and accurate crosses (0/1). Kepa Arrizabalaga completed more passes (14/14) than Mason Mount (5/9) for Chelsea against Southampton.
Poor. #CFC #Chelsea #CHESOU
