Can we please buy a world class striker?

Potter out, watching this team try and attack is terrible

I think we need to say goodbye to Kai. He’s had more than enough chances. Thanks for the Champions League trophy but it’s time.
when TT bought him, he was supposed to be CFC's Thomas Mueller, instead they tried to make him into Lewandoski and it has not worked in the least.
he is just not good enough to be the featured guy

Not a Chelsea fan so forgive me for intruding into y’all’s thread but I just gotta say Cucurella is terrible and Mount plays ugly football
Posted on 2/3/23 at 4:47 pm to SabiDojo
Cucurella really does nothing creative out there, he is terrible about taking an advancing pass and immediately going right back to the guy who passed it to him
Mount has been in a funk for a while now, don’t know what his problem is.

Blues fans privately irate they can't somehow blame this on Pulisic.

As shitty as we are, it was humorous to see Jorgi come on the pitch for Arsenal and Everton score the eventual winner a minute later

least shocking thing ever
Jorgi finished 3rd for Ballon d’Or in 2021
has anyone fallen farther off the table faster than him?
Posted on 2/4/23 at 5:39 pm to supatigah
I was NOT sad to see jorgi go. TSFYS and all but bleh did he start stinking
Posted on 2/4/23 at 9:23 pm to supatigah
He shouldn’t have finished 3rd. That was him getting individual recognition for being a part of a Euro winning Italian side and Chelsea in CL.

Is Felix eligible for Sat at Hammers?

It's not that he fell off that fast, it's remarkable he got that kind of love to begin with. He's always sucked. I was begging for us to sell him during that ridiculous time people thought he was good.

yes
starting to see the top guys come back from injury too
Probable Lineup: Kepa; James, Thiago Silva, Badiashile, Chillwell; Gallagher, Fernandez, Mount; Sterling, Felix, Mudryk
Edouard Mendy (finger), Wesley Fofana (knee), N’Golo Kante (hamstring), Mateo Kovacic (calf), Denis Zakaria (thigh), Christian Pulisic (knee), and Armando Broja (knee) remain unavailable.

I thought Zakaria was back in training? That 11 looks pretty good. Looking forward to seeing Felix, Enzo and Mudryk play together. And nice to have James and Chilly back together.

Anything less than a W today and Potter should be shown the door. If we can’t beat lowly Hammers then it isn’t going to work.
That said, I love what I’m seeing from the young guys. Felix, Mudryk, Enzo all are very quick and active. Legit threats every time they touch it. If Kai can learn to stay onsides, he can be useful with this group.

70% possession and not much to show for it. Very frustrating.

My gosh dodged a bullet there
Posted on 2/11/23 at 8:24 am to In The Know
Just got screwed on the handball in the box

Punchless second half. Potter can’t adjust. It’s time to show him the door it ain’t working. fricking suck.
