Broja’s goal was high class. Really tremendous finish. I’m going to sound crazy saying this but he has a poor man’s Haalabd build to him. Physical, some flashes of speed, showing some technical ability….of course he is nowhere near Haaland today but the physical attributes are not too off.

Potterball is so much easier to watch and root for

playing loose and free and showing genuine joy is a much needed improvement

Agreed. Loved what TT did for the squad but his style was so damn boring, slow and monotonous.

Reece James out at least through World Cup. They’re supposed to be making a decision on surgery soon. #fack

Nice that we can win some games without N’Golo and James. Potter is pushing all the right buttons.

Villa deserved at least one in the first half but Kepa made some world class plays. Train is rolling….

Amazing what a change in perception does in football clubs. Potter can get some credit but we’ve seen the play time and time again where the players respond to a new manager (even when the prior manager was class in his own right).

Kepa was on fire. Not sure how we move forward. I know you keep playing the hot hand, but I don’t know if there’s a club in the world that keeps a player like Mendy on the bench.

Chilly will be fine. Marc has been pretty good up to that game. Mendy won’t be happy on the bench and I hope he keeps working hard and biding his time until he gets another shot. That’s what Kepa did and he should be commended for it.

Chilly should have been sent off 100%. Very lucky he didn’t

To extend Kante or not to extend Kante? That is the question. Love him, he’s awesome there’s no doubt about it. But cannot stay healthy and misses a ton of matches each year. We need to get younger - replace with Rice? Gonna cost Todd a pretty penny but he’s not been shy about spending thank God.

Eh, extend him and at least have an option to move him later and recoup some transfer fee. Just don’t build the squad around him like we used to.
