Looking at the EPL schedule, Blues play the bottom of the table the next three weekends (Norwich, Newcastle, Burnley). Anything less than 9 points will be a letdown. A great opportunity to make some space between LIV and City as the other top teams have to battle it out amongst themselves. Blues schedule was top-heavy at the start and this run of bottom-level sides comes at a good time. COYB!

Ever seen any EPL table analytics that takes into account strength of schedule and adjusts / accounts for an expected finish? As you mention, the schedule isn’t created equal at any one point in the year.

"He was getting close [to a return] but then had a little reaction with some pain in his ankle. Christian is impatient because he wants to play, he wants to be on the pitch helping us and we can see how much he is suffering in team meetings when he can’t be involved. This is normal.
Pulisic is the only Blue not available for Malmo tomorrow. But at least he is “suffering” for not being able to play.

Jorgi puts away the Pen but Romelu is off the pitch with what looks like an ankle injury.

Good win but damn, Lukaku and Timo? Who's gonna strike vs Norwich Saturday? I would guess Kai gets back in by default, and maybe Capt America comes back?

Pay 42M pounds for Hazard? This has to be a joke or wishful thinking from Real. Throw that money and then some at Haaland.

Saul can’t even get on the field in a 7-0 route. I guess he’s gone in January.

Not sure a player can quit a loan. Maybe. But Atletico recalling Saul makes no sense. They didnt want him this season and got to shed his salary.

Yeah well there is no chance of signing him to an extension. What a disappointment he’s been, but on the other hand, what a surprise RLC has been in the midfield.
