Heads up:

@SkyFootball: Sky sources understand Didier Drogba could return to Stamford Bridge next season, possibly in a player-coach role. LINK

Schurrle and Willian will flip back and forth in starting roles until one creates separation, IMO.

If Costa is worth a damn, then we should roll.

Just curious? Why do you guys question his quality?

One season wonder? The recent Chelsea striker curse? Not dynamic enough? Just don't like him?

There are a lot more goals in Shurrle. There's a lot more defensive play out of Willian.

It will depend on the opponent.

I love the signing.

I think a lot of people on here don't like that he acts like a dick on the field a lot. I don't care as long as he's not biting anyone.

He doesn't score a lot of goals that make you say, "holy shite", but he scores a lot of goals none the less. If Chelsea had a player scoring half the number of goals Costa scored last year at his position, The EPL title would be back in West London.

yeah, I think he's going to do well at CFC...

I always liked the fact that he never backed down to the likes of Ramos and Pepe and gave it back to them..

He and JT squared up on each other in the first leg of the CL semi's in the first 10 minutes. John said he liked that. I like that. Jose likes that.

There's being hard and there's trying to be hard. Costa tries to be hard...

Then he runs off the field 9 min. into a CL final.

Dude is a bitch on every level.

For many of his goals he found himself running into lots of space. Most games we'll be passing around in the attacking third trying to break teams down. He's a good striker in the right system/league, I just have my doubts that he'll fit the mold here. Plus I'm curious to see how his physicality plays out. Don't think he'll have as many people back down as he did in Spain. I also never know when he's going to do something to get banned for a match, or 7... I hope he proves me wrong.

Don't think he'll have anyone slip him a sly uppercut like Federico Fazio did, either.

Dude doesn't give a shite, he throws his weight around, and he'll sacrifice himself for his team. I would assume that Jose bought him because he'll work hard, will buy into a system, and moves well off the ball. You all have plenty of players who can get forward, and Diego Costa will move to facilitate them.

A few 7 match bans would suit me just fine.

Yeah, because having that slug, Torres, trot out there a few games will be awesome.

Lukaku will do just fine thanks. I'd rather play with 10 than someone who is more likely to shame the club than help it.

Lukaku still hasn't sealed the deal in my mind to be an elite striker. He's definitely the favorite over torres if he's not on loan, but I'm interested in seeing Costa play. We shall see.

Looking awful today. Down 2-0 to Wimbledon nearing halftime.

Akinfenwa's presence may just be too much for us to overcome.
