500,000 dudes with an iteration of "Mohamed" in their names are strutting around Europe and the ME in their PSG kits tonight

What a pity this result.

Were I a ManU manc, I'd be very upset if they hired someone. He's earned the right to pilot them through next season.

If he gets Top 4 then he should be kept.

Remember, that's still an if.
Curious to see how Ole deals with this little blip.

frick off, you obviously don't know Europe. The amount of white Parisians who support them is staggering, and they're just as trashy, if not more so, than what Europe and the isles are comprised of. This, from someone who is not especially tolerant of non Christians (better said, of non Catholics).

If he gets top six, with good vibes, that's enough. He's inherited a rich clubhouse full of mentally confused top notch athletes who were clueless as to what the plan was.

He's got manu DNA.

You know what I mean, as he's obviously US American. Europeans typically don't give a frick about skin color. Banter, at the worst, and normally given and taken. That's what chaps my arse sometimes being in the US. In my experience, in Europe, it's always been about the person.

Agree with that. I'm admittedly not the most ardent viewer of ManU games but to my eyes he seems to have completely rejuvenated that squad. A core of Rashford, Pogba, De Gea, and Martial is about as solid as it gets. They're a VVD-type signing away from firmly planting themselves in a multi-year contention for league titles and deep UCL runs IMO.

How involved are United going to be in the pursuit of De Ligt?

De Ligt is a CB correct?

I really dont think United need one. But I'm a big fan of Lindelof and Bailly personally.

Looking in from the outside it seems that they may need to replace Young or Matic as their legs are close to being shot.

Tell that to Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly.

He's been linked with City, so United are sure to over pay his transfer fee, pay him double the wages he should be paid, and then see to it that he flops.

He is a CB. Lindelof has been fine but United should be shooting for more than just fine, IMO. Lindelof would be an excellent 3rd CB for rotation. I like Bailly as well, but I think they need a cornerstone in the back and De Ligt seems to fit that bill (obviously he'll have to prove himself as the PL is a big step up from the Eredivisie).

Agreed on the Matic and Young points

They have yet to even be mentioned.

PSG, City and Barcelona are the three clubs he has been mentioned with. I’m not sure how much more Barca will spend after signing de Jong though. De Ligt will cost more than he did.

I've seen a lot of articles reporting Barca is his first choice. They just took out a $140m loan in part to boost their transfer budget and I'm sure they're looking at De Ligt as an eventual successor to Pique. There's a lot of concern over Umtiti's knee issue as well so Barca definitely makes sense.
