Well from our point of view we got exactly what we wanted based on the lineup. Gotta go win it at the bridge.

1-1 would have been a better result

Obviously, but we weren't playing for 1-1. I'm just saying we got what we set out to get. Wish we could have stole one on one of those set pieces though.

Such a boring match though. Hopefully Hazard is back for the home match.

I don't see any scenario in which it wouldn't be

Overall, marginally positive result for Atletico, but Mourinho did the right thing. I think that both managers will be happy enough with it.

At worst, you end up with Bayern Munich trying to pass Real Madrid to death which isn't a whole hell of a lot different than watching Juanfran and Filipe Luis cross to Terry and Cahill. However, this time, I get to watch Ronaldo, and not Ramires, on the counter.

Dandy, or anyone who watches La Liga, how big a loss is Gabi to them?

He's a good player, but they aren't exactly at a loss for midfielders who can play in the center of the field

I normally tape all matches, and work in a second viewing later that day.

This one´s being deleted ipso facto.

That said, there´s something strangely admirable about Chelsea´s Prussian-type display tonight (I wouldn´t want to be subjected to seeing it again, however).

bump for today. I think the game today ends in a draw but I hope to see some goals.
