I really love how you are ignoring every legitimate response in this thread and only responding to the ones you deem over the top.

I wanted to know where that hate came from and others have explained why.
Yep.

I don't like when all the illegals come to this country, our government not only let's them stay for free, but also gives them benefits, and then run around with their Mexico flags and root against the USA. If you don't like this country, GTFO!

I think most of us do not hate the country of Mexico, just their soccer team.

I didn't originally get the massive hate against Mexico. Sure, their fans are pieces of shite and so are their players, and sure, our players get pelted with batteries and piss bags when they play in Mexico, but I still didn't get the absolute level of hate that some American fans have for Mexico, its team, and its fans.
Then I went to the Gold Cup final in LA, where I was outnumbered by Mexican fans 20 to 1. For the first time at a sporting event in the United States I actually feared for my safety. There were people throwing beer on us constantly, dudes exposing themselves to female American fans, constant taunting and jeering, people vomiting/peeing in beer before throwing it at American fans, etc. Some American fans went to the hospital with lacerations from glass bottles hitting them in the head. I couldn't even leave the game in peace without assholes waving Mexican flags in my face and yelling the score in my ear from a space that was already well within my "personal bubble." We were never dicks to the Mexican fans; it was all unprovoked, one-way traffic. All around it was a miserable experience.
TLDR: Now I really get it. frick Mexico.

So if you're walking through the Superdome after a Saints game and see an unattended beer stand, you'd walk behind it and take as much as you can carry?

Congrats on being a scum bag.

It's a yes or no question.

I don't see why this is hard to understand. Why are any two teams rivals? USA and Mexico have as good a reason to be rivals as any other sports opponents.
They are our arch-rivals, and for good reason. They are historically the best team in CONCACAF and our toughest competition. We play them all the time. They are on our border... We beat them sometimes, they beat us sometimes, and it is almost always an intense, important match.

You know who hates the damn Mexicans the most??
Landon frickin' Donovan
He pissed on Chivas's field after we beat those Mexicans in the U-23 WC.
He's an American hero

Unfortunately, most Americans' experience with Mexicans are the dirt poor ones who we assume illegally entered the country and stereotypically do menial jobs. Besides the fact that few, if any on this board would be willing to do the jobs the illegal immigrants do, most Americans don't realize that just like anywhere else, Mexicans have a wealthy population, a middle class and poverty. The disparity may be greater there, but we have more in common than we have differences with most Mexicans. Imagine how affluent Mexicans would think of Americans if the majority of their exposure was to inner city residents of Gary, Indiana circa 1992.
Now if we're talking Mexican soccer...frick Mexico without mercy.
