Ultimate power move IMO. Hand them out to all the 'Mericans.

Can someone talk to me as to why we'll be so outnumbered in the Rose Bowl?
Also, why was the crowd so shitty and so Brazilian last night? I know tickets were priced pretty expensively, but apparently that isn't keeping Mexicans and Brazilians from purchasing them to this game.

To me, it seemed like it was more american soccer fans losing their shite seeing Neymar than actually being Brazilian.

Because it has happened before and it will happen again.
The Rose Bowl is basically Gringo Azteca.

It may seem obvious but I also wonder why it's so lopsided. I mean there aren't 30-40k big usa soccer fans in california to make it.

I'm going to assume you are an LSU fan, but any team will work in this situation. Imagine you live in Eugene, Oregon and LSU is going to play a season opener there in the future. You'd probably spend more money on that ticket than a regular Oregon fan on average because it is your one chance to see them. That's just the case with any team that comes here with a large population in the US.
I'm not really angry about the game being in the Rose Bowl. It's not like the US deserves to have a home game. I will be looking forward to our winter matches with Mexico in Seattle or Columbus, though.

But national pride is on this game. It should be very important to all fans.

This is more an indictment on how little I care about politics any more, but this would in all likelihood result in me voting for him.

That makes sense, as Mexico would basically be a major fan base in any city where a game might take place.
I still don't really understand why it's a challenge to find US soccer fans to attend in places like Boston or Southern California, however.

I went to the GC 2011 final. It was the worst soccer experience of my life. The Mexican fans were animals and made the whole thing miserable. This is why I am not going to any US/Mex matches in heavily hispanic markets ever again.

Deets?
I've heard all the stories before, but I never get tired of hearing them.

I'm pretty keen on going to a hostile away stadium, but this is one I would never go to for this particular match.
Bottles flying every which way.
I like your Trump idea though. He'd probably buy himself a few hundred thousand votes just by proving his 'Merica'ness and his willingness to antagonize war and piss off El Chapo

Harassed outside, inside, and while leaving the stadium for being American fans. Even after the US had lost and we were leaving we had fans flipping us off, calling us assholes, running up to us and invading our personal space to yell in our faces and wave their god damn flags in our faces. No security what so ever. Constantly getting showered with beer that had god knows what in it (if history is any indication, it was likely vomit and/or piss). Cursed at, etc. I had a better experience than many American fans. Some people went to the hospital after getting hit by glass bottles. There were grown men exposing themselves to little girls.
Redeeming moments:
There was a group of Hispanic fans wearing US jerseys who were trying to combat some of the chanting that the Mex fans were doing. The best ones (directed at the obviously American fans rooting for El Tri): "Don't forget who pays for your food stamps!" and "Support your home team!"

60K+ stadium bet your arse there would a frick ton of Mexicans there.
When they played there in the Gold Cup their fans showed up in large numbers espcially playing Merica. 30k fans for a game vs Canada

Seattle is further away from Mexico than Columbus. I would assume there would be more Mexicans in Seattle than Columbus, but not due to proximity to Mexico.
