When was the game? I checked all my listings and nothing, only manu fulham and for some reason games from last year. Hopefully they will replay it on yeshd, which always replays arsenal games.

Not bad for the youngster. He's becoming a quality utility option for us.

I hope he doesn't leave in January.

Game was on ESPN3.com. You can watch the replay there.

And I agree crazy. He's a solid option at DM and RB. The past few outings he's clearly shown he's more reliable than Frimpong.

I agree. Frimpong is a destroyer who really doesn't fit our system. Though I love his physical ability, I think he might have a hard time in this league in the same way Mascherano had a hard time, because refs call more ticky-tacky fouls after the emergence of Makelele than they did before he came into the league. Frimpong is a player like Makelele who needs to improve his work-rate and positional play. When Coquelin was coming up, people said he was a Makelele type player, but I see him more as a cross between Flamini and Gilberto, players who can tackle but also contribute with work rate and excellent positioning. Coquelin is a better defensive RB than Jenkinson right now. I'd rather loan out Frimpong and Jenkinson than loan out Coquelin.

Gibbs had surgery today for his groin again due to the setback he suffered. Expected out 3-4 weeks.

So Henry to Arsenal on loan in January is actually being considered. What does everyone think of this?

I wouldn't mind it, we need numbers up front, but it doesn't deal with the long term problem that we don't have a backup striker.

Initially a splooge.... realistically not so much. It would be great to see him back though. How old is Bergkamp?

He could still be dangerous around the box, but he won't be leading many charges. I agree that at this stage of his career, he is not a full-fledged backup to RVP.

if anything he could be a sort of leader figure, a point of stability for the team, and definitely a mentor to younger players.

Edit: And let's not forget that when Campbell (35 yrs old) and Lehmann (40) came back they were more or less breaths of fresh air. Him coming back may not be a gamechanger like we would hope, but if anything, we can trust Wenger's evaluation that his support would prove useful.

So why is the Wolverhampton match postponed? I was settling in to watch it.

I see now. Tube strike in London.

That messes my plans up--I have to drive to NOLA in the morning.

Walk out strike by transportation workers. Yet, Chelsea played today at home. Sounds like we pussed out. Chelsea drew Fulham at Stamford Bridge with Dempsey getting the equaliser.

Arsenal can go ahead of Chelsea in the table with three points tomorrow.

Gooners:

Because of holiday travels I won't have access to Fox Soccer Plus to see Arsenal take sole possession of 4th. Do you guys have any suggestions on internet feeds that are reasonably reliable to watch the game on? Also note I don't want to pony up the cash for Foxsoccer.tv.

I don't know if anyone knows about it, but I've always used www.firstrowsports.tv. It works great, and they have multiple streams available for the same game. For an Arsenal game you should have 5-8 to choose from.

There's also a Google Chrome extension that has links. Leauxgan would know the name of it.
