Dodged a bullet w/ Ream. But I do hold hope that he can mature into a much better player.

Wenger is clairovoyant. Kinda cool that he did a little guest column. I will have to watch out for those more.

I think Wenger will give AOC a chance first. Then maybe he'll try for someone like Gotze.

I also wouldn't mind Junior Hoillet. He might be lacking on the technical side, but his athletic ability more than makes up for it.

No we aren't getting rid of him, he'll just be gone for the African Cup of Nations in January. I don't know many other pure wingers to be honest. We've been linked with Kalou in the past, but he's not a pure winger by any means.

I didn't realize that Nordveit (or however you spell it) took Baby Bradley's spot at DM for Monchengladbach. Its a shame we had to let him go. I always liked him.

The African Cup of Nations is in January and since Ivory Coast qualified, he's playing with them.

Probably wouldn't have made it here with Coquelin, Frimpong, Aneke, and Ebecilio.

He's better than Coquelin or Frimpong at this point. First-choice DM and playing well for the third place team in the Bundesliga. Not bad considering he's a CB by trade. Wenger said he was loathe to sell him, but that he knew HN needed 1st team football.

Not sure this is the best indication of success at Arsenal. He'd be in the same position as Coquelin and Frimpong here. I haven't seen him enough to make a determination on his ability, but Wenger is rarely wrong about young players. I have a feeling that he isn't the expansive passer that Wenger wants deep in the formation.

A good thing about getting Diaby and Wilshere back is that we can send Coquelin and Frimpong on loan, which should help their development in a big way.

The group stage starts January 21st and the final is February 12th.

Ivory Coast has their first match on the 22nd so he'll be missing the Man U match that day.

Likely Arshavin. Benayoun or AOC might get some games as well. Depends on if we get a new signing as well.

I'm interested to see how our CC squad matches up with Man City on Tuesday. Chamakh hasn't gotten a game in forever. I imagine he, Park, Arshavin, AOC, Frimpong, and Coquelin will all feature. Yennaris will probably have to play RB. Who plays LB? Meade from our Reserves team? Miquel? The more questions I ask, the more I'm pretty sure we are going to be dominated.

i swear i cant wztch arsenal anymore. Zamora gets help one time and they get a fricking own goal out of it.

Fulhams coach def had a great gameplan.

What are we going to do without gervinho and chamakh? arshavin doesnt need to play on the wing, and Van persie cant play every game.

Get someone in January. Despite the run of form recently we still desperately need a playmaker like gotze who can break down a good D who sits behind the ball. A second striker is also a must bc like you said RvP will need rest eventually. That being said, we do get back sagna and wilshire and hopefully the AOC and the korean can develop and log some good PT

We'll buy one or two in January. Our schedule in January isn't terrible: Fulham, Swansea, ManU, and Bolton. No Champions League ties, likely no CC ties after we get eliminated Tuesday. I think we'll be alright.
