Yeah RvP's performance has been against quality of pretty much the highest level. It still probably won't be as draconian of a snub that Thierry Henry was dealt on more than one occasion:
02/03 Apps: 55, Goals: 32, Assists: 24
03/04 Apps: 51, Goals: 39, Assists: 14
04/05 Apps: 42, Goals: 30, Assists: 17
Not to mention he helmed the Invincibles of the 03/04 season. Shoulda been given it over Shevchenko in '04, imo.
Also, this:

Yeah I'd go RvP just based on the fact he hasn't had a suspension problem, but though are ridiculous snubs imo. 8 Barca players up for the award is just stupid. RvP has been scoring goals at a Messi/Ronaldo-esque clip this calendar year. Huge snub.
Also, its a damn shame Henry got screwed out of awards. He was so awesome.

Bored trying not to write a paper so my mind wonders to Arsenal. We're at home to West Brom this weekend. Wouldn't mind seeing Arshavin play centrally behind RvP. Would guess maybe Benayoun and AOC get the start on the wings considering Gervinho and Walcott have played a lot lately. Rosicky and Frimpong maybe start too. Seems like Arteta hasn't had a break since signing for us. He, Song, and Ramsey could use the break against a lesser opponent. Arsene probably won't do as drastic of a rotation as I just suggested, but I'd imagine there will be some.
