Depends on if Traore finishes his late fitness test.
Chesney
Sagna-Kos-TV5/Squillaci-Traore/TV5
Frimpong-Ramsey-Lansbury
Walcott-RvP-Arshavin
I can't think that Arsene would throw Jenkinson out to the wolves (aka Suarez and Downing). Lansbury is the only other question mark. Wenger doesn't seem to rate him, but we don't have much else to choose from. We're the anti-'Pool when it comes to midfielders.

I suspect Carl Jenkinson has a legit shot at playing left back. He looked shaky, but did his job when called upon. If you can handle Di Natale in your first professional appearance for Arsenal in a Champion's League match, then there's a smidge of confidence to take away from his performance.
Edit: he only played for around 20 minutes though. /wearily takes off Arsenal blinders

Even with the defections, injuries and suspensions still a dangerous attack.

Problem will be the disconnect of our midfield linking up. They were headless for ideas against Udinese. If we win it's going to come from individual efforts, not a long building pass sequence. Don't have much faith in a counter unless Theo chases down a long ball

It will have to Ramsey to Walcott on a through ball.

This. Theo latched on to a few of them last match.
Problem will be Liverpool's midfield, they have some serious talent there.

No doubt. It only takes one though.

I would be optimistic, but after reading about all these injuries and doubtful players I am kinda resigned to just hoping we can make our way out of a hard fought ugly match.

We have yet to concede a goal. Look at the bright side.

Average age = 19.67, youngest starting midfield in EPL history?

Younger if Jackie Boy was playing.

To be honest, and I'll probably regret saying this Saturday around 7:02 am, Lucas/Adam/Henderson don't scare me. Suarez does, and Downing to a lesser extent.

Since I'm pretty drunk right now, I'll say Suarez scares the shite out of me, and Downing terrifies me vs. Jenkinson or Traore or TV5. Henderson is soft as shite nahmean.

Lucas is the best CDM in England now that Essien is hurt, and one of the best in Europe. He led the Premier League in tackles last year. Not to mention he completely dominated Cesc in that epic Liverpool vs Arsenal game late last season.
Suarez is obvious.
Adam is special and will pick Arsenal's midfield apart.
I don't think Henderson will be in the starting XI this weekend.
I can't wait to see Downing against Arsenal's back line.

Lucas is good. Adam is good, but overrated. He could beat our shitty D on set pieces probably, but he isn't special. He won't "pick our midfield apart." Even with Frimpong and Lansbury or Ramsey he won't do that. Who will be the other MF? Downing will skin Jenkinson alive I think, which is why I'm afraid of that.

Probably Kuyt. Watch out for Adam. You underestimate him.
Posted on 8/19/11 at 1:43 am to LSUSOBEAST1
Nah. I properly estimate him. Kuyt > Henderson. That scares me some more.

Once Gerrard gets healthy and assuming he stays healthy, I don't see Henderson starting expect maybe some Carling/FA cup games.
IMO, the only reason he started last week over Kuyt was because it was against his old team.
