Bruno G and Rice midfield is phenomenal. Love that. Great signing.

Vini Jr is at DEFCON 2. The reports I’m seeing online are making me believe. But until it’s done you never know with superstars.

What alternate reality have we stumbled into? I remember five years ago melting with all of you over that Newcastle loss to make us miss out on top 4 in 21/22.

Let’s go back further to when we were in debt from the stadium and couldn’t pay our top players wages and they all left for United, City (who were funding wages with nonrev $$), and Barca.

I’m so glad those days are over

This is why I don't feel bad for Newcastle.

I'm like umm, Arsenal used to lose their best players all the time. And it's not like we bought a bunch of superstars to get back to being consistently in the champions league. We had to build back up to this point.

Yeah I'm starting to believe.

Multiple Spanish reporters saying Real Madrid are at the take it or leave it stage.

Im biased, but I think he can build a bigger legacy at Arsenal. Id want to go to the bigger more watched league and be the top dog at one of the top clubs in that league. You will be forgotten in a year at Madrid.

One thing I guess I didn't know was Jay Z actually wanted to buy shares in Arsenal back in 2010.

In 2010, the American rapper stated that he had been supporting Arsenal for years—initially drawn to the club because of Thierry Henry—and wanted to move past being a "back-seat investor" to actively join the board and help make decisions.

Damn this is a crazy timeline. Seeing how Vini will be employed is going to be crazy, given Arteta's tactical proclivities.

Looks like this is coming to a head next week. I'm giving it a 25% chance that he leaves Madrid

I'm not sure how reliable ESPN Brazil is, but looks like the Bruno deal may be done.

shite is starting to finally happen fast. Norgaard to Everton. Good servant but with MLS and Bruno being added to midfield it was only a matter of time.

Looks like Bruno is gonna happen real quick. Not bad for "no club to club talks" according to Newcastle beat writers.

Makes me feel great now that we have some great non rice options in midfield to ease the workload

I was thinking about the midfield.

This will give us

Bruno, Rice, Odegaard
MLS, Zubi, Eze

Merino can play CF or be used in midfield, but essentially we will have two guys for each position.

Here is Gary Jacobs reporting it.
