And Arsenal should have had a pen. keeper never had position of the ball, and you can’t impede the attacker, which he absolutely did

Biggest myth in the game. You can get the ball and commit a foul. Happens all the time.

Not enough can be said about the defense, Newcastle had 1 SOT from open play and only 3 shots on target for the game.

Hell of a performance, great contributions from the Subs.

Eze is a wizard playing in between the lines

Loved seeing the fight in this team. Halftime was good for them. They were too preoccupied with the no calls and fouls and weren’t playing the game. They came out in the second half with more focus.

Unlucky not to have two goals before the half. And did a great Liverpool impression by scoring late goals to win the game.

Fun game. That St. James crowd is always impressive.

When the schedule came out, we always knew these first six games were TOUGH. And if you had told me we’d be in second place and two points back after these first six fixtures, I would have taken it in a heartbeat. Especially if I had known Saka and Odegaard and Saliba and, etc., would be injured for one or more games.

I already spoke to that. He got a toe on the ball before the contact.

And Gyokerws could have went after the lose ball if Pope didn’t clatter him, GK don’t get free will to smoke players by getting a touch on the ball.

Sanchez had a worse one last week and got a red for it, touched the ball first though!

Howard Webb said this exact same thing.

We had the penalty with Saliba and Brighton where he headed the ball then the player.

The injuries are something that no one is really talking about. Arsenal have great depth, so it isn’t really noticed or even considered with the schedule or points total.

I think Kai is missed more than anyone. The big games weren’t the issue, it was the weaker sides where points were dropped, and what Gyökeres was bought for. If Kai is there at Pool or for City, I think there are at least 2 more points.

Saka, Kai, Saliba, Ode, Noni all out of games, and only 2 back with that start.

Kai and Hincapie should be back after the next International break (10/18)

Noni probably after the one in November (11/23)

Then you maybe reintegrate Jesus in January? If he’s not sold in the winter window

Yeah I always remember random useless shite.

And the problem isn’t whether you think it’s a foul or not. It’s that the pgmol has said it was and should be called consistently.
