He's got to figure out how to play aggressively in these types of games.

Even the Bayern & Athletico games looked like this until we scored from a corner (shocker) and they opened up.

We haven't got a clue how to play through a press at times. And we had all the right people on the pitch to do that (besides Kepa)

I do not care about this 2nd keeper in the cup shite. You have to start your best guy when you haven't won anything in SIX frickING YEARS

Neither one of those goals happen with Raya because he knows how to catch a cross

Didn't need either one of them to play through the press. They just chose not to at times, and Kepa can't distribute worth a shite

It's the same shite that cost us against Wolves, Brentford, etc

They start pissing down their leg and just booting it up the pitch. Havertz was poor in the air, and Vik rarely can bring a ball down with a player on his back.

Win possession, boot it long, lose your duels, win possession, rinse and repeat. That was basically the middle 60 min of this game, over and over again.

Those would both be nice to have but shouldn’t be a requirement to be able to break their press and play through the midfield, which we were totally incapable of doing today.

Saka has been shocking for large parts of this season, and today was another one. Just a total non factor after about 10 min

Trossard wasn't any better and has been horrible most of this calendar year

Completely played off the pitch because we weren't brave enough to advance the ball on the ground.

Carabou cup doesn't matter in any real meaningful way, but we played dreadfully and I can't abide that.

Beating Bournemouth is all that matters now

Just impossible to compete when these things happen.

Only "good" news is Timber/Eze and apparently Saliba are all withdrawing from international duties. I'd rather they all hang back besides Calafiori & Vik (they've both got qualification games)

Pain today gents. That’s all I can say. Pain as usual.

Only good news is we will be 12 points clear if we win at home next before city go to Chelsea. But Chelsea sucks so I have no faith

Arsenal is in first place, and will likely win the league.
A sentence like that shows incredible delusion.

It's not the result that is the problem, it's the way we played. The last 15 min of the half they dominated us, then came out in the 2nd half and we changed absolutely nothing.

Look at this from 45' to 65':

When teams can maintain that level of domination, goals are inevitable.

They need to fix up, a 9 pt lead (6 because the have a game in hand) isn't insurmountable.

Gabriel & Trossard pull out also.

Need Rice, Zubi & Saka to do the same

Need to get some actual practice is for the run in with most of our guys. I don't they've done much tactical work all year with a game basically every 3 days since the last break

Athletic is reporting Eze going to be out for a month. So that's fun.

Just started coming into his own too

Saw that earlier. Ode needs to get back and be fit or Arsenal are going to struggle.

Weve really got to beef up the midfield in the offseason. That's my #1 position, then left wing.

We can't go next season with Rice and Zubi playing 60 games.

Merino, Odegaard, Havertz being out for extending periods of time hasn't helped.

We definitely need to add some more technical folks to the team, we've got plenty of duel winners already, but we need more of the Eze types that can go around or through if we need to.

MLS is really one I'm disappointed hasn't gotten any run in midfield this year. Likes the dribble through contact and progressive pass

Yeah, we don't use MLS or Norgard so we got to get someone Arteta will use whether they are here or not. I'm not counting them in the midfield rotation next season at the moment.

And MLS just got a link to United.

Manchester United have added Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly to their list of summer transfer targets, a report has revealed.

The Red Devils want to bolster at left back and were recently linked with Lewis Hall of Newcastle United, but it appears as though their net has been cast wider across the Premier League.

My man with the hat trick.

One cross he put in, another he beats a defender in the box and puts it low corner, and the 3rd is another rocket penalty from a penalty he won.

We've got to get this dude involved more.
