Lineup I want to see Saturday:
LW don't care unless they stick Eze there for once.
CF: Jesus
RW: Noni/Dowman
Odegaard/Havertz/MLS
Cala
U21
Mosquera
U21
Kepa
I don't want a single starter coming on unless it's at the 70+ minute.
These guys especially: Rice, Zubi, Timber shouldn't even touch the pitch.
Get Odegaard, Havertz, & Cala (maybe Ben white) some exercise.

The last 20 min, if you are trying to grind out a win, is how you do it.
Havertz can win long balls, the fullbacks were both pressing up to cut off angles, we were clearing out crosses with purpose, and hitting folks on outlets to relieve pressure. All things we didn't do well against Brentford or Wolves.
The 1H was atrocious in every way, and really the 2H didn't start much better, but Cala & Havertz (and Norgaard) later helped right the ship a bit
1 PL game in the next 5.5 weeks, lets win it and try to get these guys legs under them a bit.
We also play before City in 3 out of the next 4 games (the only one not when we play each other) some good chances to put an extra 3 pts on them to give them something to think about

In addition to the obvious narrative of Arsenal closing in on an EPL title and Tottenham absolutely in a dog fight to avoid relegation….assuming City win their game in hand Arsenal will have a four point lead for the title.
Arsenal have six points vs Tottenham this season. City have one point. Tottenham could literally win the title for us.

If tweet fails to load, click here. One of the few times one of our goobers actually have time to take a touch and line up a shot, he tries to one time it and he sends it to the corner flag
Trossard been off it for a bit. Really need to upgrade that position in the summer.

Ive wanted Elliot Anderson at Arsenal but now i really want him at Arsenal following that goal at City
shite Murillo could be a handy backup too

And get relegated. Payback for that Son intentional miss 2 years ago. We would be on our 2nd title in 3 years

think I've convinced myself that I want to keep losing on xG but winning games. It is absolutely hilarious and euphoric.
I am pretty sure if we lost all 8 remaining games on xG, we would still be top or 2nd in the league.
This is from after Sunday's games. We lost XG today. City and Newcastle both won on xG. So it is 25, 20, 20. So yeah we deserve this good fortune. XG is finally swinging in our favor again.

Really want to see some Eze LW action again.
Against all of these Man to man pressing teams he doesn't have any room to receive between the lines, and our backline & CMs aren't doing enough to get him the ball to have any effectiveness as a 10
I don't see any reason why he can't give you so great shifts over there with Hincapie overlapping him and rice underlapping runs.

This graph has gone from City +1 in 13 days to Arsenal +6. City has some tough arse games left man.
We are so close and we won't fricking blow it this year.

Tbf CB is one of those positions that can go 90s far more often than other positions

Just saw a stat that Spurs have dropped 32 points at home this season.
They have 10 points out of 42
It is usually away form that gets one relegated

They've only won 12 pts in their last 19 games
They had 17 pts after GW9. That is the craziest thing to me

he’s disappeared a lot these last couple months, same with Martinelli (atleast in the PL)
would love to see new young blood in that position next season

My eyes told me we looked better after the subs. And the stats show they didn’t have a shot on target from the 70th minute on.
They had 91 minutes to score after we scored and didn’t.

Would people be okay with Gordon? I’ve never liked him, but he’d probably be a better option right now on the left.

Used to be Rafael Leao for me at Milan but he is 26 and would cost a ton

Too much like Martinelli for me (both not great LWers) and better as runner inside forwards.
You need someone with Trossards dribbling/playmaking that has a bit more speed.
Yan Diamonde for example, Yildiz, Barcola, Kvara (Pipe Dream)

Kvara
He was a pipe dream before signing with PSG
My god he would be so perfect for this team

I only say Gordon because we’ve been linked with him. And I also assume one out of Trossard and martinelli will go, maybe both? I don’t see us extending Trossard.
If he was 30 mil id say go for it. But Newcastle are going to want way more than that.
