Huge must win today. Don't give a shite how it is. 3 points of terrorist ball. 3 points of prime Wenger ball. Just get 3 points

I'll be a little disappointed if we run out a double pivot against this Wolves team.

They won't be interested in doing anything but sitting in a low block. Get as many offensive guys as you can in the front 5. Let Dec and the 4 defenders be what they are, one of the best defensive groups in the world.

If you can't do it against Wolves can you expect to do it against anyone else?

I'm okay with it if Zubimendi is playing as the left 8. I think Rice needs to be the long pivot for these terrorist ball low block teams who go long. That said, Eze and Saka as 8s with Zubimendi or Rice behind them sounds delicious

If Kai is healthy (or when he's healthy) I'd like to see Eze & Kai as the 8s also, with Rice as a lone 6

Raya
Timber
Saliba
Gabriel
Hincapie
Rice
Zubi
Martinelli
Gyokeres
Saka
Noni

So Saka in midfield again I assume.

Would prefer Eze or Trossard on the left here, and probably Jesus up front. I don't expect lots of room to run in behind in this one.

His attacking picks never have any sense to them.

This front 3 seems to never work.

Agreed. Seems silly

Need all of the lock picks, not the runners on this one

Would also have liked Cala or White.

We'll see how it plays out

Sell Odegaard, Saka 10 going forward. I'm convinced.

Saka would be successful in any position

No idea why Wolves are giving us so much space. At the same time, loving the duel winning and 1 2s so far.

Zubi and Rice need to switch positions in this setup. Would rather have Rice for counters

We've already created more xG than we did vs Brentford

Every year it feels like Mikel Arteta stumbles across a tactical innovation that defines the remainder of Arsenal's season. Havertz at CF in 23/24, Merino at CF in 24/25. Could Saka at 10 be this year’s version?

hmm

The Hincapie/rice/martinelli triangle jus doesn't really move me.

One of those guys needs to be a dribbler
