everything you said on the last page is exactly how i feel
weve spent a lot of money in the past couple xfer windows to be so defensive mindeded and play the same style, and by that i mean hold possession only to do absolutely nothing with it on purpose because it reduces the amount of scoring chances the opponent has
but yet that’s not full proof either because they still manage to make so many costly TOs that lead to goals
league title holders (city and Pool) of years past didn’t give a frick who the opponent was, they brought the game to them…they played to win, not to not lose…its Arteta ball and somehow he thinks it will win the PL.
I think Artetas seat should start to get much warmer if he once again goes trophyless

Good time to try him in the midfield.
Would have liked to see Saka start and see if he can get a goal and build some rhythm. Start Madueke against Wolves.

Stole this from Reddit but is something I’ve noticed this season and hate.
This was in our loss to Villa. And it’s our fullbacks being central and close to goal. We switch to a 4-4-2 but with the full backs as your two strikers. It’s retarded. That’s what it looks like anyway, probably not the goal, but I don’t need white or timber where the goal scorers should be. Get Saka closer to goal.
White should be where Saka is, Saka where merino is and merino where white is.
And on the left the left back can be wide and Eze should be where Cala is.
It’s all fudged.

It's fine if they are just rotating there. But they should start there and rotate back to the ball so a real attacker can get up the pitch.
Like in that screenshot, white should show for the ball in midfield, merino makes the run to goal and Saka comes in behind him on a diagonal run. There's just not enough of that when we get in those situations

MLS in midfield is intriguing

Cala getting hurt in the warm up I would say gives me PTSD, but this happens so often that it’s just another day in North London.

No more MLS in midfield, and Saka is starting.
Gay
Saka is playing as a midfielder though which is interesting

Jesus is a bozo sometimes, just shoot the fricking ball man. It's a disease

There we go.
Look what happens when you pass it forward.,

Still can't fathom why Norgaard doesn't play more. Even if it is just to spell Rice or Zubi in games we are up

Also amazing what happens when we have attackers in good spots. Look at the right side right now, Noni wide, Saka on the pocket, white passing to them
