It’s lame that they took so long to put Eze in. Martinelli was a complete zero today with his over dribbling and should officially be done as an everyday starter.

Yeah, Eze should have came on way earlier.

I’m not super upset about the result, would have rather had a point, but get everyone rested up.

Hopefully Saliba is ok. They said he came back out to sit with the other players

Mosquera played really well today, at least.

Guys we are ok. We had Saliba, Saka, and O out for most of the game and we dominated the first half and should have been up by 1. I am proud of the lads. They played their asses off and they made a damn Messi shot to beat us. ( I saw Messi make that shot live against USA live in Houston) I told my son that’s a Messi shot and they don’t have a Messi. I guess I was wrong. We are going to get much much better. Not mad , disappointed but are still learning. We are ok.

The mistakes were by our manager in starting Martini and waiting too long to sub. (I wanted him traded) Liverpool is in his head or something.

Man I've defended Martinelli with the best of them for 2 full seasons and now into a 3rd. I don't want him starting. If it isn't Eze when we play Forest in 2 weeks I will be fricking livid.

I just fricking hate losing to this team especially from a damn wonderstrike. They are yet again are main rivals this season and they will continue to win most every fricking game and draw games they have no business drawing. I'm full on melt mode but we have lost some stupid fricking games to this team in the last 10 years. Now the game against them in the Emirates in January is a must win.

Can we still trade Martinelli? Lol.

I keep thinking about that black soccer analytics guy or fan that is like a meme that say “ Merino, will tell you about Merino. U so desperate u have to start him u lose.

I didn’t see him really frick up but apparently that guy was right.

Losing Saliba certainly didn’t help but this one is on Artetta. (But I am still with him, they just have his number and are in his head)

Just played too cautiously in a game you needed to just take it too them.

They still have to come to the Emirates

Merino wasn't bad today. I will never shite on the guy especially for what he did last season. You need players like that to win the league.

Martinelli has 1 days to get sold but won't. I still love the guy but he just isn't the player he was 3 seasons ago. Is what it is. There is enough of a sample size. No Way we sell him with Saka out. He's frustrated the frick out of me but we still need him.

Idk if this is on Arteta. This is on a Worldie fricking goal and this is also on our wingers, Odegaard never fricking releasing the ball early for Gyokeres or another player. We need hero ball shite on the wings but these guys have got to fricking put players who are in better position through earlier. It was the same story at United. Same story here. Noni just got here and he's already the 2nd best outside of Saka at putting players through from the wings and that is for someone who was always perceived as a bit of a selfish player.

It is clear to see why Noni will play more than Martinelli.

I guess on the bright side we are through 2 of our 4 away fixtures. Just have away at Newcastle and away at City that will be really difficult games.

I dont like the assna, but even though they lost today, I think over 38 games they will nick the title. Something doesn't feel right with liverpool

We need to stay positive, we did not and will not lose the title because of this game. We are going to be miles better in the Spring. The injury bug is only thing that has me concerned

Is the 80M for Martinelli from the Saudi league still a thing?

Brutal way to lose. Can't really be that upset because what a goal, truly.

Mosquera looks great and Martinelli looked trash. Eze comes on and immediately looked so much better attacking. He should never sit the bench again, he needs to start every game.

Get some people healthy over the international break and we go away in September. Overall, a good August in my opinion.

Sure but our main rivals for the title have a great looking flow to their upcoming fixtures. Burnley, Everton, Palace without Eze. This will help them continue to gel and get better.

We fricking have Forest, City, Newcastle

We gotta get 7 points out of these IMO

First loss to a big 6 team since April 2023. We need to finish the chances that we get vs a good team like Liverpool.

I thought Madueke was great today. Really the team played about as well as could be asked, just got to convert chances when you get them.

Says a lot about the window that we had, you can go to Anfield with 4 starters out and only get beat by a worldie.

Isak to Liverpool for £125 Million. Gonna be a war with them to win the league this year.

Ekitike has been really good, and texastiger was right on about him. I don't think Isak makes them much better than they already are. They have some big holes in their back 4, and if they don't secure Guehi, they're going to have to win lots of games by scoring 3+ goals

Ekitike was the guy to get during the window. Think he would have been a great compliment for Havertz and to play with him.

I think Gyokeres will score goals, but long term Ekitike is the baller

Pool done set the English transfer record twice in a single window.

We played with them the entire game (and better for a majority of it) with 4 starters out.
