i’d be feeling much comfortable if we were up 3

After watching the last 20 mins. I think Bournemouth gets a result against City. Hell Brentford may have space and they have some runners and this season the 2nd best striker in the league.
My lord if City draws at home to Brentford man. West Ham is shite but are hit and miss against us. Just do not lose that game. Obviously we need to win but do not lose it

So long as Arsenal dont feel the pressure again and revert back to playing tight, not to lose football rather than the attack minded brand.
If Arsenal beat the shite out of West Ham and Burnley it could be all wrapped up.

Also need Palace to wrap up and clinch the Europa Conference final.
Final day if the season is Sunday, May 24th.
Conference League Final is Wednesday, May 27th.
Palace could field a under 10s team against us on the 24th.

Look don't get me wrong, a loss would have been better, but any points dropped means we won't be down to GD if both win out.
City still have 2 midweek games to play on 2 days rest the next 2 weeks. The fact that they dropped points today after 8 days rest bodes well for them dropping points again.
Anyways none of it matters, win tomorrow and make the CL final, win Sunday and figure the rest out later

Thats what Palace and Villa have been doing. Heavy rotation, so I don't plan for other clubs to take points off City now. Today might have been the last.

Just win our last 3 games and we are champions. We can do it.

Well Bournemouth will be on 10 days rest against a City squad playing their 3rd game in 6 days including a draining FA Cup final.
Also don't dismiss Brentford this weekend. They HAVE to get a result against City or their European dream could be done.

Won’t Bournemouth/Villa/Brentford all be fighting for European spots until the end of the season?
Posted on 5/4/26 at 4:30 pm to Bottom9
Bournemouth are the hottest club right now, I'd almost rather them not have the rest
Villa wont have anything to play for if they win Europa, so I wont count on them even playing a senior team.
Brentford aren't a pushover, and they will still be fighting for that 6th/7th spot.

Bournemouth & Brentford for sure, Villa is in Europe, they may have to win a game or 2 to stay in the 5th spot though if they don't win on Thursday.

Another huge possibility is Villa losing 2 of their last 3 (A Burnley, H Liverpool, A City)
That means if Bournemouth wins out, they will be in the Champions League. I'm telling you if Villa loses away at Burnley on Sunday and Bournemouth beats Fulham, that City at Bournemouth games becomes gigantic.
Desperately need a Villa choke and for Bournemouth to win out

Villa and liverpool on 58, bournemouth on 52, brentford on 51 and brighton on 50.
So technically Bournemouth and Brentford can pass Liverpool and Villa with 3 games left.

Yeah so Villa might not have much to play for in the last game. But Brentford and Bournemouth will likely either still be chasing CL or trying to maintain Europe’s league for their games.

Yeah so Villa
Well if they lose to forest in the Europa league they can't get CL that way.
And if they lose all 3 games left, it is possible they finish 8th.
Bournemouth can finish 4th. They will prob beat fulham and forest, so that could move them ahead of Villa and Liverpool if those two teams don't win their games.
Forgot to add Villa and Liverpool still play each other.

really good to see City having to play their last three games against 5th/6th/7th teams fighting for champions /europa league spots
still a lot to play for
still a lot to play for

No joke, this is by far the best midtable group of teams I can ever remember in 13 years watching. Places 5 through say 17
Against the current 6th through 14th placed teams we have
14 wins 1 loss 3 draws
45 points from 54.
That is an insane return against legitimately really good and stylistically difference teams. This is where the league has been won if we do it.
6. Bournemouth (3 Points)
7. Brentford (4 Points)
8. Brighton (6 Points)
9. Chelsea (4 Points)
10. Everton (6 Points)
11. Fulham (6 Points)
12. Sunderland (4 Points)
13. Newcastle (6 Points)
14. Leeds (6 Points)
