Nice response from the team.

Leeds had only lost 1 game at home all season.

Good response in the league. Back to winning with a clean sheet.

We’ve got Sunderland, Brentford and spurs coming up. Good chance to put a run of wins together.

If Saka is out for Tuesday what do we think seeing Martinelli on the right?

Straight up, I don't remember him ever having a bad game off the right. If this was pre inverted Cristiano Ronaldo changing the game wingers, Martinelli would be world class at RW. Trossard has also been decent there

As long as it's 1 runner, 1 ball heavy guy I don't care who it is. But we need to strike the right balance with the Wingers.

Chelsea is going to come out and press us so folks need to be on their game.

Nice job by Odegaard too

Like you or someone else mentioned, Odegaard coming on at 60 minutes leading or behind is really great. Fits him. Can control the game well or play with assertiveness. I just wish he still did that for 90 mins. I just think this team has evolved past him being one of our 5 or 6 key players.

Right now it is Saka, Gabriel, Rice, Saliba, Calafiori, Timber

Also Martinelli has been phenomenal for a few weeks now. Kinda picked up as Trossard cooled off, which is good for us.

Great to see Noni contribute some G/A as well.

Timber even put in a really good cross as well.

Kai gives us so much in these physical games.

Gabriel & Saliba dominated DCL, he's been really great so far this season.

Just really great to see the response after the United game.

On to Chelsea and a chance to go compete in a final for the first time in a bit

I'll just never understand why he doesn't play like this all the time:

It's exactly what we need from his role. As long as Zubi or Rice is playing we don't need him dropping between the CBs to receive the ball every time.

I've been as big of a critic of his as anybody, and I thought he was great coming on. Maybe he can only do it in short stints now, and that's ok. Just be a threatening presence in the final 3rd. That's all we're asking

I thought Vik was better today also. Finding some form recently. He needs to do better when we do get him chances. That breakaway can never result in a block from the defender.

Some decent hold up and link up play from him as well.

And a great job to seal off a defender to get his goal.

Noni credited the goal from that corner, so 2 G/A for him officially in place of Saka. Great performance

Pretty good hate watch weekend.

Villa lose vs 10 men for a half and City Draw.

Added bonus of Thomas Frank not getting sacked yet

Lead back to 6. City go to Anfield next week

Zinny officially gone to Ajax. 1.5M fee, not bad for a guy with a contract expiring in 6 months and not really even getting in the Forest 11 much.

150k/week off the books as well

Was great for us on 22-23, 23-24. Another guy we grew too much for, but enjoyed his time in the team.
