Welp. There goes our main creative threat.

Hope the boys turn up

Looks like a groin thing based on videos.

Hopefully not something major

The Arsenaling begins. Or rather, continues.

I'd like to see Saliba only do 1 or 2 touch, opposition invites him to dribble, and when he gets caught being clumsy with the ball there is a huge gap he vacated.

Don't really have a feel for this match so far, doesn't seem to be much rhythm. Definitely not controlling the match as much as I'd like. Have had heavy touches in the attacking third not allowing any good looks.

Haha

I mean what else are we supposed to do? The other team defends us, the ball goes out. We score from the corner because they can’t defend that.

After 2 complete shite corners, Madueke has turned into prime Saka corner man. Holy shite some amazing deliveries here.

With how big Keepers are I really don't know why they struggle so much to simply go out and catch a ball in the air where their hands can reach much higher than anyones head can. They have a free path to the ball, because if any opposing player makes contact with them the referee is 99% sure to whistle for a foul.

Still good early signs of Havertz and Gyokeres working together.

Even early on in the half Gyokeres looked to play in Havertz but the pass was too long.

Well we're not creating much from open play still. But the defense has been rock solid, so hopefully that continues.

I'm happy Arteta hasn't dropped Gyokeres. I think it would destroy his confidence permanently. Just really so excited to have Kai back. With him leading the press we don't lose much defensively when Odegaard is out. Plus it is another big fricker defending corners.

Creatively it is fine because we don't create shite with Odegaard anyway.

I just really want Eze in this team. Hoping he can turn it up and push Trossard

Since Saka is out it means a greater chance for Eze to come on. Martinelli will come on for one of Trossard or Noni, since we know neither will play a full 90. Might be an opportunity for him to showcase himself on the wing.

btw, the boys need to pick it up real quick. Flat start to this half, Leeds already with 2 chances in the first couple minutes.

Oh man, he's got to bury that chance. Nice recovery by Rodon, but needs to be put away.
