It is the exact same thing that we had players sent off on more than one occasion earlier in year that cost points. It's fkn criminal that this was ignored as usual for other teams

The great part is that it's the same fricking twat that sent Rice off for the same thing.

I'm fuming

So we’ve only won one game partey has started at rb and it was Southampton.

I don’t really want to blame the player because it’s not his position. But maybe we need to figure out another way. He also just doesn’t have the legs. People run by him.

I'm not too worried about it. He's gone in the summer plus White is almost back so this is only a stop gap fix.

I don't think Mikel foresaw White, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Tomi (maybe actually), etc getting hurt so much that it kills our back line and forces Partey at RB.

Mikel says that they are "very worried" about Saliba.

I am figuratively blowing my Arsenal fan brains out right now

I’m just thinking you could put people we have to play defense in defense.

Maybe it doesn’t change anything. But I also think partey is just better in midfield.

You could have done a kiwior and keep timber at rb.

Or put mls at rb and kiwior or Zin at lb. Zinchenko prob would have been fine for that first half.

I know it’s hindsight but we have the cl game on Wednesday and no way white is ready to start that. If saliba is still out, maybe rethink the back line.

Just get him healthy. The title race is over. Need to focus on CL and finishing in top 4.

Yeah, we’re 9 points back, we’ve had the 2nd or 3rd most injuries this year and it seems the board aren’t terribly interested in bolstering the team this window.

Need to get top 4 and get some folks healthy. I don’t hold many hopes of doing anything in the CL with the current state of our team

Don't lose hope. Dortmund made the final with a dog shite squad last year and Inter the same 2 years ago

It will 100% depend on the draw, if we get paired with another super defensive low/mid block team, it’s going to be a coin flip for us to put one in the net

Kiwi is arse so I don't mind him not seeing the field. You can't just magically assume MLS will slide right in at RB in a pivotal league match, so it makes sense to go partey there. I don't like it, but it was the safest option. It just sucks to see us so depleted at a position group we've invested so much in

12 pts dropped from winning positions this year, if that’s not a harbinger to tell Arteta to go back to our 22-23 attack I don’t know what it.

Us “controlling” the ball just results in everyone falling asleep and giving up stupid goals while also not having the ability to be effective on the attack (I know we scored 2 today, but the last month or so hasn’t been great on the attack front)

If we lose big willy for a considerable amount of time we are mega fricked.

We go the first third of the year without our best midfielder, we can go middle third to half the year without our best player, and now our best defender has a knock (and our 2nd/3rd best defender has been hurt for a while)

I wondered if the problem was Arsene’s training staff years ago and that obviously wasn’t the case. Through different regimes we always have a massive amount of crucial injuries. Is there something in the water around the Emirates?

And yes, holding on to CL will be challenging. 17 fixtures to go and I think everybody knows Man City is going to come charging up the table like a bat out of hell to grab a top four.

Injuries, injuries, injuries. Saliba plays yesterday and we win that game. I knew the day was going to be typical bullshite once Liverpool scored two goals in extra time. Take it game by game I guess.

My attitude for the rest of this season is whatever happens, happens. I am praying someone on the board looked at Arteta's bench yesterday and saw 4 names they do not recognize and thought "maybe he is a little thin"

to be fair team should have never let a 2 goal lead slip away in one half at home

seems like every quality chance opposing team has turns into goald

Well taking him out of the midfield makes us worse in the midfield because I think he’s better than Jorginho and merino.

It’s better for the team if he’s playing there, find someone else to play rb.

Hopefully saliba can be back for city.

CL tonight, win tonight just about guarantees a top 8 (some other losses likely need to happen to secure it)

Raya
Timber
Kiwior
Gabriel
Zinny
Jorginho
Rice
Odegaard
Sterling
Havertz
Martinelli
