3 shots on target

They’ll punt this January window too “no market opportunities”

Another season with no hardware

I mean that could end up being true but the season isn't even close to being finished and we have a nice shot to make a run in the FA Cup and Champions

And we are in the semifinals of the League Cup.

No bad for having half the fricking team out all year

We aren’t making a run at anything with Saka out.

Best case he’s back by April

We’ve played all the teams in the top half of the PL table and only beaten 2 of them. 1 in August and 1 in November

Disappointing but can’t take for granted going into BHA and taking three. And while there’s a lot of football to be played, I think we all know we’re not winning this damn league. So a draw on the road against BHA is not really damaging to what our goal is—remaining in CL.

Certainly frustrating though that the season Man City falls apart that it’s Liverpool and not us filling the vacuum.

Can’t for the life of me figure out why we didn’t bring on MLS. One of our best ball carriers and we needed some of that today

I forgot who said it but they said city would finish second and I thought that was crazy.

But we are closer to city than we will be to Liverpool when they beat United.

As poor as the offense has been - 5 of our 7 draws have come from us being up in the game

Well I do think these two Brighton games we win without some dodgy refereeing.

But there is also that lsu under Les argument coming back. Don’t make it close so the refs can screw you. That was said plenty of times.

Very, very frustrating season to say the least.

I really do hope they try to add an attacker in this window.

Going to be a rough few months regardless I’d guess

Apparently Arteta said Ethan had a muscle issue, so that’s fun.

Hopefully Kai is back Tuesday or it’s going to be rough
quote:

Arteta to BBC on Nwaneri: "Really bad news because I think we've lost him, we had to take him off at half-time with some muscular issues."

So we’ve got Martinelli, Trossard, Jesus that are healthy, maybe Kai, a couple youth wingers that haven’t appeared on the senior team yet.

If they don’t add a winger or 2 in this window, it would be bordering on criminal

It was such a dog shite call and the commentators all said it was obviously a foul. Makes me feel like I’m taking crazy pills.

Usually if you are calling a headbutt foul, it’s an auto red card.

Crazy that a pen was given, but not even a yellow.

Look up Anthony Gordon getting his nose broken today in the box by a shoulder and nothing was given

The penalties and decisions given up / done to us this year, that you never see called for any other team ever if we are being honest, plus the red cards + injuries has screwed us so hard. Can't really fault Arteta too much. But it would be criminal if they don't go get players in the January transfer window. I mean look at the amount of fixtures we have and look at our bench today. Absurdly thin.

Could be worse I guess, look at Spurs. They are in such trouble with the injuries they have, lost their 10th game this season (half their games) while we have only lost 2 with a ton of injuries as well.

13 Unbeaten I will still take. Go get a semi-final win against Newcastle on Tuesday to bring it to 14!

We will lose the title once again for not beating the teams we should expect to beat.

Arteta confirmed Ethan has an injury, will be out a few weeks.

So that gives us 4 total attackers (assuming Kai is healthy) until Sterling comes back that have played with the Senior squad
quote:

Mikel Arteta confirms Ethan Nwaneri is out for "a few weeks" with a muscular injury. Arteta also says Arsenal are still having issues with illness in squad so can’t confirm Kai Havertz will return against Newcastle

So maybe no Kai tomorrow either, so we’ve got 3 attackers for Newcastle

It's also difficult with the margins to beat those teams.

We win the following if the refs didn't cheat us and we didn't have back breaking injuries, even with our subpar performances this year:

Brighton at home (Laughable Rice Red Card)
Man City away (Laughable Trossard Red Card)
Liverpool (Saliba out, Calafiori out, Odegaard out, Gabriel out 2nd half)
Brighton away (Match fixing penalty on Saliba)

So that is 8 points. We would be at 48 points and Liverpool at 44. I am leaving the Bournemouth and Newcastle losses in there. I'm also leaving the Chelsea, Fulham, Everton draws in there because nothing egregious pops to my head but I know for a fact Fulham got lucky because we out played them and also Everton, just didn't finish.

I am telling you we have not been who we are normally but let's not beat around the bush. Many things can be true. We have not played well, injuries have fricked us, opposing teams are scoring with their only decent shot of the game (it is usually some bullshite like the Neto goal at Chelsea or the Isak goal at Newcastle), refs have continued to frick us.

Who knows, the way Liverpool is leaking points and the Trent and Salah locker room cancer potential, we could have a lot left to say. Gotta win the next 4 or 5. I think we can without Saka.
