Pretty much locks up 2 spot.

City would have to win by 10+ over the next 2 games

I think we can get a point vs Southampton.

I do like Arteta saying if you can’t be first you still need to be better than the rest.

Assuming Timber & Saliba are healthy enough to be in the squad next week, it’ll be our healthiest squad since probably December when Saka got hurt

Also thought Calafiori was fantastic as a CB. We should get a LB or keep Zinny so he be a reliable backup CB

No real issues with keeping him & Kiwior as a backup pair

Arteta letting it fly now. If we don’t add to or 3 attacking players the club is killing him

Kiwior was awesome.

My player of the game. Could be raya, but he had some dodgy passing. He did come up with the big saves.

As far as defenders I think they like Hato from Ajax.

Left back and left center back. Basically a left sided Timber. Only 19.

Jorrel Hato is a Dutch footballer who plays for the Netherlands national team and Eredivisie club Ajax. He's known for his speed, athleticism, and defensive skills, including tackling and interceptions. His versatility and composure with the ball allow him to play as a wing-back or inverted full-back. Hato's calm and stable character have led to comparisons with Jurriën Timber, who successfully transitioned from Ajax to the Premier League

Exclusive: Jurrien Timber is set to undergo an ankle procedure. The #AFC full-back has been managing fitness issues in recent weeks and the club's medical staff have decided he needs a procedure to address the problem. It remains unclear how long he will be ruled out.

Hopefully not serious, what’s that like 7 or 8 surgeries this year?

I think he pairs really well with either Saliba or Kiwior. I like Richy's ability and desire to drive or be an option into the final third, and he does have some creativity in his bag. With an anchor like Wilo or Kiwior as his partner, that really opens up the overload chances out the back with both fullbacks and him sliding in to that inverted mid spot.

Another comment mentioned Hato, would make Arsenal's defensive rotation pretty stout across the line. Think that would make Zinny and probably Tomiyasu another move durring the summer?

Which is why he needs to go. Nothing personal b/c I like him as well. He simply can't stay healthy.

Tommy won’t be back until end of year or something. Same with Jesus.

So he won’t be sold this summer.

Hopefully someone buys zinchenko.

We had the 3rd most touches in the opponents box this year and managed to win 0 penalties at home this year.

In fact, we only had 2 all year in the PL, both on the road at WHU.

What an anomaly

Yep but we are the laughing stock of English football yet again because we finished in 2nd with our top like 7 players all being hurt at various points of the season.

The Brits are genuinely terrified that we are soon going to get over this hump and I suspect it is sooner rather than later.

This is irrelevant in many ways. How often were we truly threatening/attacking the goal vs simply keeping possession and going side to side?

Well in 12 games in the CL we had like what 4 or 5 penalties? It’s no coincidence we’re reffed differently in England

Saliba will miss final game with hamstring injury, so that’s another starter missing a game this year.

Man we really got fricked by the injury bug this year.

Yeah. Makes picking up that pt at Lpool even bigger along with playing Southampton to finish up.

Talks have begun behind the scenes. The 24-year-old is a potential departure candidate at Real Madrid.

It’s difficult but Arsenal are currently exploring all options for a possible transfer. Deal on.

He’s hit or miss, but supposedly Berta is taking the approach of casting a wide net, word is he’s reached on to 15+ attacking players and then club will decide which one they want

Rodrygo is a great LW if we go that route, never gets to play there anymore with Vini & Mbappe in the team
