As I’ve said before, I prefer a move back to a double pivot allowing Declan to become the box crashing box to box monster that he is, then whoever that creative guy is can be a 10/SS

But we are Arsenal. We would sell odegaard and replace him a few seasons later.

I really don’t think we will see some huge influx of players and sell the players we would need to sell in one window.

It’s not time to overhaul the team like that.

Adding one to the forward line. We already needed to.

Adding one to the midfield but with potential departures there you prob need two. Losing odegaard makes that 3 elite midfielders you need to buy.

That’s really the only two areas you are trying to really elevate the team at.

The gk will just be a back up.

Partey has suitors around europe, he can leave on a free and gave us a shite load of minutes this season.

Jorgi probably leaving.

We cant just sign one midfielder and sell odegaard.

hence why you would need to sign another midfielder better than odegaard.

We aren't doing that. We still haven't replaced Xhaka, or Auba.

Yeah, I mean we would need to get someone to replace Ode if he went, and better is subjective, all I think is needed is a different skill set.

Just to be clear, I think it’s 98% chance that Odegaard is going nowhere.

In current set up (assuming Odegaard stays) you need a DM to replace Partey and maybe a younger guy to suck up Jorginho minutes (assuming Rice or MLS don’t absorb)

But in all seriousness that’s what we want to see more of from Odegaard.

lol I thought this was going to be it for sterling.

Damn, I don’t want him to stink, but you get one of those against Madrid, you got to bury it.

Tchouaméni, had to look up how to spell that also, just got a yellow so if Real Madrid win he would be out for the first leg of the QF.

Massive with how good of a player he is.

Madrid scares because their offensive firepower is absurd

Atheltico scares me because they play terrorist ball like us (in current form)

Welp, we’ve got Madrid.

Gotta at least have a lead when we lead from the Emirates

Home leg 4/8
Away leg 4/16

Everton (A) 4/5
RM (H) 4/8
Brentford (H) 4/12
RM (A) 4/16
Ipswich (A) 4/20

Then all weekend games to close out unless we move on
