City has no holes in their lineup. We are one-deep everywhere. Maybe give their accountant a ring.

Season's not over but this fricking sucks.

Terrible run of form at the worst possible time.

We still have to play at Liverpool, at Newcastle, and at City.

I don't see us coming back from this unfortunately.

That said, the season's not over. I can't wait til Pep leaves man

yup

our bench still has lots of holes, still better than previous years but these players wouldn’t see the bench at other big clubs

I think we need to win the next 6 in a row.

It's annoying that City still has Julian Alvarez on the bench

I'll take that 20 point deduction for City now.

Thoughts on trying out Martinelli up top again? Arteta did it in the past, he can't be any worse than Eddie can he?

Martinelli has hit a dry spell out left, and they now have Trossard, or is that too thin with ESR still out?

Bunch of chicken littles in this thread. Season isn't over, you twats. Plenty left in the season, and Arsenal also have a game in hand. Upcoming schedule isn't terrible and we should get Jesus back soon.

Team played well today minus the dumb individual errors. Lots to build on.

Surely you are joking. We are 12 points clear with a game in hand on Spurs and have a crazy goal difference with them.

Ok first of all I told you so.

We are the youngest team in the league by far so stop all this chicken little shite. As soon as I saw the starting lineup I knew we were fricked.

We needed a championship level striker in the January transfer window and we didn’t get one and as a result we will not win the league. It’s not like they didn’t try. But it is what it is.

We can and still should make champions league which was the goal going into this season.

We have got to get out of this scoring slump to do that and I hope they are are working on that.

Let’s get into the championship league and then we can get the rest of the parts we need for a run at winning this shite next year. Right now we need to worry about freaking Aston Villa

I hope ESR isn't too far away. Xhaka has been struggling big time in the left 8. I wish we had ESR in those advanced positions.

If we can get ESR back to full fitness by early March we will be fine.

This game sucked. We really need of one those dribblers that we used to have that could drive with the ball. That by itself would open up space for Saka, Ode, Martinelli et al. We also panicked several times on the ball. We have to be smarter than we have been.

Well let’s see, Eddie is a one trick pony.

Martinelli is way off form.

Arteta fuddled with the lineup and Tomi shipped 2 goals.

We are now getting regular poor performances from our cbs.

Odegaard looks a shade of himself.

Granit Xhaka is just not an attacking player.

Our non disappointing player was Jorginho.

And of course Saka is just our best player.

Well yeah, but you start dropping games and the pressure builds. Arsenal have to win on Saturday. If not maybe Arteta can get worst manager of the month.

Genuinely completely disagree. Gabriel struggled today but he has not put a foot wrong since the World Cup break. Saliba has struggled here and there but that is expected for a 21 year old asked to play the highest line in the league.

Martinelli, Xhaka, Zinchencko, and Nketiah are all out of form. That tells me this is a Jesus problem. Jesus coming short and his pressing used to create an arse load of space for Martinelli and Xhaka which allowed Zinchencko to push up into midfield

I think you are overblowing this one. We are in bad form but you'd think this was the 2018 disaster with Emery
