AFTV reporting that Arsenal are out of the ESL!!
Posted on 4/20/21 at 2:12 pm to glassman
Now let's get Stan out of the club.
Posted on 4/20/21 at 2:22 pm to crazy4lsu
Baby steps. I'd rather just throw him off a cliff.

You completely disregard the fact that Arsenal IS NOT going into this league to compete.
Looks like we aren't going anyway.
Yet at least. We will hear about this again in the future, that is certain.

Almost certainly not in Europe.

If we hear about this again then it will be a Champions League replacement where the top 6 as in top 6 in league position not name make Europe and the 7 to 9 Europa or something.
Today has shown us the the SUPPPPPPPPPER League will be rejected forever in Europe ESPECIALLY Britain. The Premier League is the UKs biggest export. The British Government was never going to allow this.

I said it months ago in jest and it's probably still terrible to say. But I genuinely hope that Stan Kroenke keels over and dies.
Piece of shite looks like a silent film villain or a pedophile. I don't want to hear from Josh either. Plenty of people have suggested that he could be a better owner eventually. FOH with him too. Arsenal is a nothing more than an ATM to them.

Are there any real mechanisms for stripping an ownership group of their interest? Can we "Donald Sterling" the Kroenke's?
Posted on 4/20/21 at 4:50 pm to HerbTyler985
Given the government's statements, hopefully the Kroneke's get spooked and decide to sell. frick them forever.

"We had no choice but to accept the invite"
Yet "Kroenke was Florentino Perez's right hand man and best friend throughout this process" as has been reported elsewhere.
Just frick our ownership. frick YOU STAN KROENKE

Ian Wright tweeted it. No way Kroneke can survive.

I can see the Kroenkes selling because Arsenal will lose money for them now unless he injects a bunch of money into it.
But, just remember, we could always end up with a worse owner.

Lol fifa has been pushing a club world cup for a while.
Where do you guys come from? you dont live in reality. Its all about money and self interest.
The lower level pl clubs out vote the other clubs all the time.
Look at the 5 subs. They are willing to risk player safety over their own self interest.
No club is "clean" no governing body is just.
Prime example, UEFA and what happened to lewandowski. cram a season in, travel around the globe to play meaningless games during a pandemic and now you couldnt play in the champions league because you got hurt.
They dont care about you. Manu has a shite load of fans. They can make more money charging $1 for a game on an app than they can at gate revenue. This isnt over.

In order to qualify for this, it is based on merit, which is fundamentally different from the random confluence of events related to technological development which have made certain clubs popular.

Opposing this isn't an indication that anyone thinks FIFA/UEFA is clean though.

I just don't think they understand fandom. They understand money, but they don't care about what makes all this special. Again, sporting clubs are not businesses, regardless of the revenues they can possibly bring in. They exist for the sake of direct competition, at the behest of the fans who provide a market. Because it is the fans who provide the market, due the historically low barrier to entry provided by the pyramid system, football isn't like any other business. Removing clubs from the pyramid system where competition is innate at literally every level (from the field to transfers to youth development) is going to destroy the whole sport. I don't know why this is so hard to conceive for some people. Football does have a business side, but it is not the express purpose of these clubs, and never has been. A massive TV deal, given only because a greater market developed due to the skill and ability of players and coaches, not these shithead owners, doesn't change the nature of football, nor the nature of fandom.
They can try again, and they will fail again. It doesn't matter how much money is involved, because the project fundamentally misunderstands fandom. It is aimed at an illusory casual fan, who they have to insist, despite watching games with the best players in the world, won't develop attachment to specific clubs. In what other sense does this work? When a person comes to this forum curious about what team to support, what do we tell them, over and over again? It boggles the mind that these owners actually believed it.

This possible 3rd kit next season is fricking heat. Can't wait to be embarrassed of my club while wearing it. Holy shite one of the best designs I've ever seen
Posted on 4/22/21 at 10:54 am to Bottom9
That is fiya. I also love the simplicity of the leaked away kit.

So fan forum with that piece of shite Josh Kroenke and that sleazy bitch Vinai.
Essentially said he and his dad will do everything to repair the shattered relationship with fans and he said they will definitely "invest."
Basically said they aren't going anywhere.
