I'm the same. My son argued with me last night that it is better to lose. I said, "it's never good to want to lose".

We aren't going anywhere in the table. Our road back to Europa may very well be the FA Cup again, unless Arsenal finally decide to win Europa.

Ryan Bertrand being looked at for left back cover. We just taking all the Southampton fullbacks that they no longer want.

Not sure if you are saying this as a bad thing, but soares is not a bad signing.

Guy had premier league experience and a European winner with Portugal. We've had way worse players in our back line recently.

And... When he joined us last season on the original loan, he had more tackles in that season than any player on our team. And I still think finished with the most tackles having barely played for us.

Out of curiosity, who would you get rid of in the midfield before Elneny?

Xhaka, not sign Ceballos, torreira and guendouzi. I keep forgetting about Willock, just don't see it with him.

We still own 4 of those.

And I'd upgrade there.

I'd also sell Bellerin, sign a back up lb and use the rest on either a midfielder or another CB for when luiz and mustafi frick off.

But I don't see them extending Elneny, so better to sell.

I just have never seen Elneny make glaring mistakes other players have. And doesn't seem like a guy that would split the locker room because he only plays in europa league.

We need to sell Eddie A.S.A.P and promote Balogun to his place.

Eddie has no business being in this squad. He's suvked for like 3 months now

i only watched 5 minutes of this game, but i got to see arsenal with a great chance to tie, but Pepe missed so bad on his FK opportunity
the rest was southampton applying a full press and our guys having little confidence to move the ball and turning it over

didn’t like this lineup at all but what happens when we lack quality depth on bench

and lol at cedric kicking fgs, i remember he did that last game and half the team looked back with arms raised

Eddie is not good enough. Sadly, neither is Pepe, thought he was pretty pathetic at times.

We are going to have to just throw in the towel on that one.

I saw the starting line ups and thought we aren’t going to win this game. If we can recoup some money for Pepe this summer, we should. I also agree Eddie should be sold, he is nothing more than a poacher.

Ozil, Ramsey, Sanchez, Cazorla, Welbeck, Wilshere, Sokratis, and Mkhitaryan have all been let go for free the past 3 years. Possibly Mustafi as well. Arsenal aren't recouping anything in their business deals. Its incredible how poorly the club is being run.

They need to offload Laca, Bellerin, and Elneny for something while they still can.

Willian looks like a complete failure of business.

I am in agreement with throwing in the towel on Pepe, he is far too expensive for what he produces. They need to think about dealing him as well even though its not near the end of his contract.

it’s very satisfying and refreshing seeing fans finally get on board and realize team isn’t as talented nor as good (no matter who the coach was)as they thought they were..team has a good core of players to build around but there’s still some trash to be taking out

willian better thank a higher power that the emirates isn’t filled with fans, can only imagine the smattering of boos he would receive on the pitch

Kroenke is a sports disease. Watch the Rams plummet to last place next year. It will happen. They are the worst owners on the planet and that include the guy who owns Newcastle.

Really sad how he couldn’t even feature in this years prem... but I guess I’m glad the chapter is closed. Some great memories but it was time to get his massive wages off the books.
Think we went from Ozil-Ramsey in their primes to Smith Rowe-Odegaard... I mean I rate the young guys but geez
