Isn't AMN a right sided player?
If Arteta was going to put anyone at left back then why not Saka who in the past did well over there? I'm sure Pepe would do just fine at right wing.

I don't think we've been terrible, need to be a bit better around the box.

It was a super pedestrian half, all the possession but with vey little substance. Only 2 shots, neither terribly threatening.

Arsenal making the sub, and bringing on the lineup they should have started the match with. Saka at left back and Pepe at right wing.
Bellerin has also been very poor/wasteful tonight. Ceballos is someone I haven't noticed much at all either, bit of a good and bad thing I guess.
Xhaka has been a bit shite on attack, but I've found pretty good on defense today.

This team is so frustrating to watch sometimes. There were multiple times where a player received the ball and could have turned into space, but instead they play it back to the CBs. Looking at you, Bellerin and Xhaka.

Incredibly disappointing match. Including the Newcastle match over the weekend the inept attack has returned. Obviously they missed Tierney, but he can't be the entire attack. Massive changes are needed in tactics and/or players, because it is very tough to watch the attack each match.
Just to throw it out there I thought Bellerin and AMN might have been the worst players this match.

I'll give xhaka this, after his usual dumb foul at the top of the box early on, he was switched on defensively. And didn't mind he was pissing zaha off so much that zaha ended up trying to grab luiz's dick and got kneed in the head.
Clean sheet at home good. Lack of decent attack at home bad. This is the kind of game you need your superstar in Auba to get one.
But yes, frustrating. We stay 6 points behind spurs.

Our biggest issue are still in midfeild to me. we are sooo slow on the ball and just physically slow. no one can beat their man and we are stretched so easily on the break.
There were multiple stretches of this game where midfeild was pushed back and we were putting palace under real pressure but eventually a bad pass would come and theyd hit us on the break. once that would happen , ceballos and xhaka would immediately go back to safe side to side and backwards passes.
we started off both halves energetic and attacking and as soon as palace would give us a scare we back off. I truly dont think its tactics, its fearfulness from our midfeild. we need more guys like partey with the athleticism to dominate the area of the pitch.
