“I want no part in this game against Thomas Partey and Mikel Arteta’s sensational Arsenal side.”

I guess City's attack is going to be run by Foden. I'll take it.

one of the most dullest offensive performances i’ve seen of the season. 30 of the minutes used to kick the ball side to sign with no threat to go forward.

boring arse game

Arteta has this team playing with more discipline and I think his system will pay off in the long run. Nothing to do but go forward and win the games we’re supposed to win and carve out a few more draws and a few less losses against the big boys. Top four not likely this season but not impossible.

As expected, no Mesut Ozil in Arsenal's Premier League squad. Looks all but certain he has now played his last game for Arsenal.
Same for Sokratis. They will not be able to play for Arsenal in the league until February at the earliest. They were also left off of the Europa League squad. This is what happens when the players refuse to move on from the club. Yes, they will get paid handsomely, but they won't be playing competitive football any time soon. Glad Arteta left them off and will keep giving the young guys opportunities.

Arsenal team news:

Dani Ceballos (ankle bruising) & Willian (calf) will miss Thursday’s match & are being assessed ahead of Sunday.

Rob Holding (hamstring) is likely to be out for approximately three weeks.

Shkodran Mustafi is back in full training & available for selection.

Calum Chambers (knee) now back in full training, progressing well towards full match fitness.

Pablo Mari (ankle) aiming to return to full training within the next 10 days.

Gabriel Martinelli (knee) aiming to return to full training by the end of calendar year.
Glad to see Calum back. It's hard to root against him.

eta: tied up but damn it’s frustrating to watch this team move the ball forward and keep possession
