Great result. Burnley were so organized defensively. Was always going to be tough to break them down.
Thought Ozil had a shocker, which is fine. He's been playing his arse off. Same for Iwobi.
Thought Theo was very good again. Crucial header for the final goal. Unlucky not to score earlier.
Alexis is looking very comfortable at CF, but that was a game begging for a Giroud header. Burnley conceded the wings entirely.
We're in a great spot heading into the break, both in CL and the league. I really like this team.

Me too, Stewie. The Liverpool match seems so removed from the squad. No Ozil and Chambers and Holding at center back. With our current construct I think we win that one.

Too bad the crosses were actually pretty bad for most of the game

Nacho had an assist for Spain and Iwobi had his first goal for Nigeria. Can't wait for this weekend. These breaks suck.

Ozil starting, Mustafi on the bench.
Walcott starting and Gibbs on the bench.
I won't breathe from 1:45 until 3:45.

Swansea are our bogey team. Hopefully we get all 3 points.

No doubt about that. We play defense like we have been doing and it will all come together. Love to extend the clean sheet streak to five matches.

Won't be able to watch tomorrow which sucks for me. Hoping we keep this dominant play going (outside of the lackluster burnley game).
Glad we came back from the international break healthy.

Theo Walcott's games/goal ratio in the PL:
16-17 so far: 8/5
15-16: 28/5
14-15: 14/5
13-14: 13/5
12-13: 32/14
11-12: 35/8
10-11: 28/9
#afc
Shoulda had five but I'll take two goals and three points.

Even in his down years Theo always provides end product. I've been critical of him, especially last year, but he has been terrific so far.

Yeah Theo has been awesome, prob should have had 2-3 more goals. Didn't make it easy on ourselves, but we haven't beaten Swansea at home since like 2011 I think. So I'll take the 3 points.

How much rotation are we expecting for Wednesday? I know it will be against the worst team in the group, but that just makes 3 points a must. Also, with Boro this weekend, you can get some rotation there as well. I'm thinking you start Giroud if he is healthy; Lucas if not. Ox should get a start as well. Leave either Iwobi or Theo in. Start Ozil Wednesday and maybe start Ramsey this weekend in that spot if he is fit. Definitely start Xhaka Wednesday since he will be suspended for 3 games. Give El Neny the start Wednesday, then pair Coq with Cazorla this weekend. I assume Gibbs will get a start in one of the games. Also, Holding and/or Gabriel will probably need to get in one of these games.

Won't be available, so Perez will get the start. We do need to get some rotation going. But, Wenger will throw a curve ball or three.
Ospina will be in goal, that is all I am confident about..

im torn on subbing a ton of people in CL. I just don't like it. Now next week against Reading i wouldn't start more than 2-3 regulars. Simply do not care about that cup.

Is he not available because of health or red cards? He should be fine on cards huh since he sat the Basel game.
