If we can land Lemar and another CM this would be one of the best windows in a long time.

Chris Willock to Benfica on a 5 year deal. Wish we could have held onto him.

#AFC made Sanchez big offer, hope he stays. But if set on leaving + fee acceptable possible he'll go this summer rather than free next #MCFC

Worth pointing out that as things stand Arsenal still yet to receive any offers for Sanchez, Wenger planning with him in the team #AFC #MCFC

Arsenal close to completing Lacazette deal. Final fee almost agreed & he'll then have medical & finalise terms to become #AFC record signing

So boys is it true?? Might we sign a top class forward??

Also, if we keep one of Özil (most likely) and Alexis (probably gone) and sign a CM, Lacazette and Lemar I'll consider this summer a tremendous success

"Bayern doesn't pay crazy money."

If they want Sanchez, they're going to have to step up to the plate.

If not, they can go frick themselves.

I saw it on Arseblog. Says he wants to play center mid. Arsene can't guarantee him time.

On another note, saying we are signing mahrez.

I cannot find someone that has posted this above so apologies if someone said this and I didn't catch it.

I saw yesterday morning that the Lyon president said that we are getting Lacazette and that it is pending medical which should happen today or tomorrow.

So I know Mbappe has great potential but he is 18 and despite a few great performances there is much to be desired. To tag a 125m price on a teenager is a bit much. It's like a tabloid saying. "The Next Cristiano Ronaldo."

Lacazette is more proven in the aspect that he is that 25-35 goal striker that all of us Arsenal fans have desired. He is in his prime of his career and you know he is worth every penny.

I've said we needed another topnotch nine ever since RVP left, none of this hoping that journeymen blossom or kids develop.

Lacazette is the guy. If we keep Sanchez and Ozil, then I say we win the league next season.

We all know Giroud is gonna be sold for around 28m euro and Perez will be sold at around 12m, maybe more. If we can just take that and get Lemar or Mahrez then we know we have our "replacement" when Sanchez leaves next summer. Sanchez is gonna have a case of the "tough shite" when he says he wants to leave soon.

If we challenge for a title then great but we need another cazorla because father time is catching up to him very quickly.

Some buzz, however reliable, that Alexis will be back.

A front 3 of Alexis-Laca-Ozil could be handy. I have concerns about midfield beyond Xhaka-Ramsey but so far so good this summer.

We should buy Idrissa Gueye. He's had statlines similar to Kante both in Ligue 1 and in the PL.

What we need is a player like Javi Martinez or Daniele de Rossi.

Not sure if it will happen today, but reports are he passed the medical and met the team. Fee was £52m.

Oh and Santi is out til April.

As much as I love the guy, we have wasted so much on the wage bill for oft injured players.

Think it is about time to start the 2017/18 Season thread with this good news..

I'm happy, but he should have been bought last summer for half the price.

I guess finishing outside the top 4 is what Arsenal needed to wake the eff up.
