I gotta say I'm not impressed with these signings last year..mustafi, xhaka, Perez (yeah, I know he rarely plays), elhneny...there's just know cohesion with the entire group in the defensive side of the ball

I don't blame the signings. They are in no position to succeed. None of our players have been consistently good besides Alexis and perhaps Koscienly. The whole team is suffering from lack of direction and discipline.

Yep. Elneny is probably the least talented out of those four and he's been at least dependable when he plays. Plus he can score (Barca last year). I wish he'd get more looks over Coq tbh

Xhaka- I still have hope. If the Vieira reports are true that will help him tremendously.

Mustafi- I don't even know.. he looked vulnerable the first half of the season but held it together (somehow). Now he's just a shell.

Perez- will probably move on in the summer. He's been good for us against inferior competition but there's gotta be a reason he doesn't play the big boys

Ospina doesn't command the box good enough for the EPL. Great shot stopper but weak against crosses.

I'm actually happy about today's result. We finally showed some damn balls and fought back.

I'm not. It's the nail in the coffin for top 4 pretty much.

Yea but it's clear now that it's gone. I was still foolishly thinking we would make a run like we usually do. If we had a new manager coming in I'd be OK but with Wenger staying and no ucl we could really see a down period for the club.

Edit - Numerous fights between Arsenal supporters in and around the Emirates today.

I thought Gabriel did fine today. He seems to be getting more comfortable, especially playing CB.

Stats on the day
78% passing rate
2 duels won
8 clearances
1/1 tackling
1 aerial won
1 interception

Pretty good day for 45 minutes

Ospina and Coquelin both picked up knocks. Unsure if either will play. Ospina in more doubt than Coquelin.

I like welbeck, thought he looked good in the first. But he's missed a lot of time due to injuries. I just think Perez could give you more in the big games if you played him.

You have a slew of guys that have barely missed anytime, yet you want to shove guys in the lineup and blame cohesion on the players? Nah, Arsene is done for me.
