shite, sorry to hear about your son. That said, it's one case with complications. If Chambers has an uncomplicated tonsillectomy it could be as little as one week.

It sucked. Had surgery and had to go back later in the day again. He bled out. Then 8 days later he pushed himself too hard and went to the ER, was admitted and had another surgery. Spent the night in the ICU and needed a two unit transfusion.

Bleeding is the biggest complication of tonsillectomies, I'm pretty sure. Did the packing not stay in? And what do you mean when you say he pushed himself too hard? Like at a practice or something? And he rebled?

He was working out with a friend and popped the stiches. He bled like a stuck pig.

He is fine now. Seeing your child in the ER filling up buckets of blood from his mouth and waiting for a surgeon sucks. Not to mention spending the night with him in the ICU in a chair.

Worthwhile read on Ozil's struggles.

quote:
Özil’s chief strength is his intelligent movement, especially when leaving his central position to help overload the flanks. In this context, his current role creates a paradox. These days Özil drifts inside from wide, much like your average playmaker-turned-winger. But his natural game is about doing exactly the opposite.
quote:
In general, there is a fundamental difference between starting out wide before drifting inside, and starting centrally before drifting out wide. And particularly for Özil. Firstly, he is deceptively quick and thrives on both releasing and providing overlaps. This is best used near the touchline. Secondly, he needs others to combine with. When playing as a winger, Özil often comes one-on-one against the full-back when in possession out wide. His team-mates will all be positioned centrally, perhaps except his own full-back. This sometimes leads Özil to dribble against organised defences inside the final third, which has never been his speciality

Good read.
I would really like to see what Ozil could do in the middle with the offensive weapons this team has. Would be interesting...

I think we have to consider playing Jack and Aaron together with no anchor behind them. At some point. I think it can work. It may take time to work out, but Flamini is essentially just a body. A mildly insane body. We're basically including him in the 11 (or Arteta) at the expense of putting a world class player in his natural position.
I'd also be fine with playing Jack wide. He's done well there. And play a double pivot. Then you're sacrificing a wing like Theo when he's healthy, but it's an option now.

Wenger said: "In defense the Debuchy injury puts us a little bit in a situation where we do not want more. Hopefully we will have good news after he has a scan and that he will be back soon.
"We have Chambers who can play in different positions, Monreal can play centre back and we also have Bellerin who I think is now ready to play."
Arsene trolololololing again.
