I feel the same way about Arsene and Miles, but i have been following Arsenal way before Miles was coaching at LSU.
Except that Arsene is a pretty intelligent guy and Les is borderline retarded.

Arsene and Les are extremely similar coaches.

Are they? Arsene once revolutionized the British game in pretty much every aspect, from nutrition to tactics. I don't think you can say Les revolutionized anything. How else are they similar?

I guess I meant more in terms of how they've been viewed recently. Both are extreme characters known for their quotability and unique way of speaking and expressing themselves, and differ highly from the preconception of a football coach/manager. Arsene is this highly educated, economics trained manager in a league known for its Harry Rednapp and David Moyes types. Les is a laid back, goofy, friendly guy in a sport where a Nick Saban type is viewed as the ideal.
Both experienced great success early on, only to taper off slightly as their tenures extended, due in large part to being overshadowed by legendary god like coaches of rivals(Ferguson and Saban.)
Bc of the success of rival teams as well as stubbornness in sticking to their "way", (Arsene with frugal spending/blooding of youth/rigid adherence to 4-3-3, Les with running the football/relying on defense and special teams) both men found large sections if not the majority of their fanbases questioning their abilities and calling for their heads despite results that most teams would kill for.
Both are great players coaches and having their players "play for them" is one of their shared greatest strengths, and despite all the criticism and heat both take, Arsene is now by far the longest tenured coach in the EPL, while only 5 coaches in Div 1 football have been on the job longer than Les miles. Both are on track, if not already there, to be the greatest coach/manager in their respective teams history
Lot of superficial similarities I guess.

Arsene certainly is there. Les would be if he wins another MNC.

So is there any way to watch the CL game this week? Or is that a negative?

Do you know any streaming sites? Try firstrowsports. Just google it and something should come up. I think it redirects to firstrow1 or something like that.

FoxSportsGo and FoxSoccer2Go are featuring it. Fox Sports is free with a valid cable subscription (like WatchESPN) but Fox Soccer requires a subscription.

ETA: looks like it's on Fox Sports 1 too if anybody wants to DVR it for after work

Can't tell if you really think this or if you're making fun of idiot LSU fans who really think this.

Arsene has his media out bursts. The zipper thing is similar to miles clap. They are both stubborn but great coaches in their own rt. Obviously others don't think highly of wenger or miles including a few portions of the fan bases. I just think there are similarities in there. Neither get enough credit IMO.
Or what tigerfan said.

What an ugly game. CP were set up that way, but it was hard to watch.
The good: Arteta, Kosc, Chambers, who all had the easiest jobs.
Chambers and Kosc played well, of course I could've played well against that attack, but Chambers looks like an elite CB prospect who can play in DM.
Thought Giroud was a clear upgrade on Sanogo. He needs to get fit.
The bad: Santi being sloppy, Alexis holding the ball waaaaay too long and trying to do away too much. He was too indecisive and tried to force too much, which led to some poor giveaways. That said, Alexis was also our most dangerous player, and was much better when Ox came on and gave us more width and him more space.
3 points. I'll take it. Let's get better, gel, and stay heathy.

Exactly. Tomorrow is another story. Playing in a hostile environment, we need to be ready.

Does anyone know some place in Lafayette or Baton Rouge where I can buy a jersey? Or must I order online?
