What? It was definitely a foul. I'm not calling for a suspension, but Arnautovic definitely could have pulled up and not made any contact. Instead, he went through Debuchy's back while he was off-balance and out of bounds.

Debuchy's injury infuriates me.
The ball was going out, Arnautovic (sp?) had no intent of going for the ball and blantantlu shoved Debuchy in the back after the ball was out. So damn dirty and no repercussion.
If an injury occurs in the run of play, OK. So be it. But I fricking hate unnecessary injuries like this. So damn frustrating.
I think it was more Debuchy throwing his body in between the end line and a running Arnautavic. I haven't watched it since but I didn't think it was dirty at the time.

I pulled up a video on Arseblog and Arnautavic throws his arm out and into Debuchy's back. It wasn't necessary at all.
TN Bhoy can flame all he wants, but it was wrong.

All three people on MOTD said no foul.

I never said it was a foul, but I suppose I implied it through my posts.
And if that's so, then I still stand by it. Arnautavic had no shot at the ball and it was merely an attempt to hit Debuchy in the back, which he accomplished well.

Anyone else notice that Crouch is basically a really tall, even uglier version of Monreal?
Apologize if this was already posted.

Good showing.
Glad all these guys are getting fit, while minus debuchy now.
But where do we fit these players in? Obviously the back 4 as is might be our best line up with debuchy out.
Alexis and carzola are top notch together and shouldn't lose their place. Rt now ox gives you more than Theo can. I really like coquelin protecting the back 4, just much more physically imposing than flamini. And I just live rosickys game.
Now depending on who we are playing you can interchange giroud out but I just liked the balance the team showed with the starting 11 today. I know Arsene is going to want Ramsey back in at some point, but we have plenty of options going forward, sometimes you will need the cm to put in a good defensive shift. Ramsey makes great runs going forward but leaves us vunerable at the back. I guess its a good problem to have.

I think Ramsey will supplant Rosicky eventually, though I agree, I love Rosicky's driving runs forward.
The good thing is we will have squad flexibility. Theo obviously needs some fine tuning and is a great sub right now.
I think we'll see 4-2-3-1 ish shape with our back four, Ramsey and Arteta/Coq holding, and a very fluid three with Alexis-Ozil-Santi behind a Welbeck or Giroud. Ox and Theo are your speed off the bench, with Welbeck and Giroud rotating.
That's also assuming full health, which isn't going to happen, but the key is squad rotation, which Arsene's not been good at since I've followed the club.

plz buy delph so we can get a sell-on fee

I'd have taken Delph a few weeks ago but with Coquelin's emergence Id prefer an elite DM and Coq as long term depth.

I'd still take Delph. But I'd be pissed if he was our only buy there.

I was impressed with Coquelin's skill over the last two matches. He's given away some passes needlessly but made up for it with his defensive work, and some skill in tight spaces, IMO.
Interested to see how he continues. He'll be critical this weekend.

Arteta out three months after ankle surgery.
Bad news because when he has played this season he has been superb. But hopefully this means we buy now.
